Track Pad is an issue.

However, the track pad is not consistent when using and that issue can be frustrating. If you have an Apple Smart Keyboard for an iPad 7th or 8th Generation, you are better off purchasing a Logitech Pebble i345 mouse. The Pebble is easy to operate and is consistent when using.

Posted .Thank for posting this very helpful and insightful review of the Combo Touch Keyboard Case---your feedback is greatly appreciated. If you haven't done so, you may want to download the Control App, which you can find in the App Store. It will fine-tune the keyboard lighting, make firmware updates easier, and more. (Perhaps help with the track pad consistency) Hope that you found this helpful. He doesn't use it much - keys not quite right with his arthritis. But I think it is great. If it were mine (no arthritis, woman with small hands) , I'd use it all the time.

Surprisingly good iPad keyboard- at a good price.

The key travel is minimal and feels good. The various levels of backlight intensity is good. I Overall, a good product that has a nice “feel” to it. Should last a long time. The pen loop is an added convenience.

Great keyboard + case for iPad 7th and 8th Gen

I have an 8th Gen but it works for 7th Gen as well. Sometimes it's just easier when I am trying to type up an email so there's more screen space. Only things is that sometimes if the keyboard was already attached the last time I used it, when I flipped the iPad open, it won't recognize the keyboard for some reason so I would have to detach and reattach again.

For School

Instead of investing several hundred dollars in a new laptop, we purchased this for our 6th grader’s iPad. Works perfectly. Not as protective for drops as we had hoped, but it does the job of turning an iPad into a laptop. Bonus is that there is no need for a Bluetooth connection for the keyboard.

Makes my iPad into a laptop that I use for school

Apple finally allowing iPad to use external pointing devices has been a game changer. If you're serious about using your iPad to get with done then this case is a must have!
