It is very sturdy and really protects my IPad. I bought one from another company a few years ago, but pieces of it broke off and it wouldn’t hold my IPad in place anymore.

It holds it snugly in place. - The function keys at the top of the keyboard are nice, but I sometimes hit the lock button while trying to hit backspace. - If the iPad and the keyboard are both laying flat, the keyboard often disconnects from the iPad, even if the keyboard still looks like it's attached. - I also find that sometimes the keyboard disconnects from the iPad and nothing works unless I separate the magnetic contact and reconnect it. - It's a little unwieldy when the keyboard is not attached. - I dislike how the keyboard can't be wrapped around the back, so you have to find a place to set it down when you take it off.
