Love the addition protection it offers and the solid keyboard helps with using the iPad on my lap

I have had the case for about two months now and I really had put this through the wringer. This turns my iPad plus with stage manager into a real MacBook replacement. My only gripe is that when you had the Apple Pencil attached to the IPad it makes really hard to open. My solution is to remove the pencil every time other than that I really think this is perfect for my needs.

The best keyboard for the IPad yet. Beats the Magic Keyboard and that is hard to do. More protection and the keyboard detaches. Highly recommended and makes it like a small laptop.

It is easy to assemble and easy to work with. It is comfortable when typing, highly recommended.

I was searching for a good case for my new 12.9 M1 iPad. I narrowed down my decision to this and the Apple Magic Keyboard case. I read and watched reviews online and my decision came down to two things: price and protection. This case is over $100 cheaper than the Apple version and come with more features. This case feature physical control keys to adjust things like keyboard and screen brightness, volume controls, and sleep/wake functions. Secondly this keyboard will detach from this case while still providing protection whereas the Apple case provides no protection while disconnected. This is a great case and I would highly recommend it.

I was unsure if I would like this keyboard as I am accustomed to the Apple Magic Keyboard. This one did not disappoint and at a much better price!

This is an awesome product! It marries very well the iPad’s incredible performance with a keyboard that looks and feels more like a Microsoft Surface keyboard, that is easy to type on, is backlit and performs very well both on a desk/flat surface as well as on your lap or on a pillow. The material is sturdy and light and it doubles as a case for the iPad. This keyboard cover is way better than Apple’s more expensive keyboard and would recommend people going for this one. It performs better, it feels better and it is lighter than the Apple keyboard.

I was drawn to the Combo Touch after comparing it to the other non-Apple competition. My first thought was to get the Apple option, but that cost is just too much. Now I wonder if I made a mistake. The unit adds some weight, but that is not a major concern for me. I started with laptops when they were more luggable than portable. My concerns relate more to the reliability and functionality of the device. As a laptop replacement, it is fine as long as you don’t want to actually use it in your lap. I’m tall and it won’t fit in my lap. Unless I have my legs extended (sitting in floor or a recliner), there is no way to use the kickstand effectively. You will lose your Apple Pencil using this case. I understand that the iPad alone doesn’t offer much security, but a good case could easily provide better security that what this design has. I drop the pencil frequently when using this case. Finally, the functionality is questionable. I frequently find apps where the track pad freaks out in various areas of the screen. For example, when using the Amazon app, the track pad won’t allow me to move the touch point into the menu at the bottom of the screen. In several apps that have have checkboxes (task managers) the track pad won’t work to click in a checkbox. Sometimes the trackpad seems to go out of calibration with the screen and I have to disconnect it and reattach it to fix the issue. Periodically the keyboard either lags behind my typing or just quits responding. This seems especially prevalent with the function keys. Hopefully, some of this can be fixed with updates to the app that is required for the unit to work. The build of the device feels solid, but the quirks are rapidly making me regret the purchase.

This is a great alternative to the magic keyboard that Apple sells. It is significantly cheaper and offers more features such as being able to remove the keyboard when you don't need or to simply just hide it around the back. It also has a row of function keys that the magic keyboard lacks. One complaint is that 30% of the time, when I remove the keyboard, it leaves the mouse indicator dot on the screen. The only way to get that to go away is to reattach the keyboard and then detach it again. It is possible this can be fixed with a software update...

So easy to use, detachable keyboard and super confortable

I've looked far and wide, and tried several different products over the years... and this Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Folio not only looks GREAT but it protects the iPad and has a built-in keyboard that is charged by the iPad, so the keyboard is always ready to go. And it is a full size keyboard with a solid touchpad so you don't need a mouse.

Protects the Ipad 12.9 M1 2021 very well. The stand on the case works well! The keyboard and track are both second to none! The backlight on the keyboard is great as well!

Excellent product with premium materials. My only complaint is that it’s not very easy to use in your lap, and it takes up quite a bit of real estate on a desk, but otherwise I love how it can be used in many different modes. Love the function key row which was a big factor for getting this product over Apple’s keyboard case.

This was a great keyboard/case alternative to Apple’s Magic Keyboard (MK). I was surprised by the feel of the keyboard, which was similar to the MK. I love the detachability of the keyboard while still protecting the iPad and I assume the cover material will hold up better than the silicon-like material of the MK. The things I don’t like is that it’s not lapable, it needs more desktop space with the keyboard attached, and the cover is tricky to open if you have the Apple Pencil attached. I’m accepting the trade-offs for the lower price and detachable keyboard.

It's a GREAT little keyboard/folio...HOWEVER. It COULD use a couple of tabs to assist you in opening the thing. One for the top, one for the bottom, RIGHT NEXT to one another so you can twist it open easily...this thing is a PAIN to open...BUT...it holds your iPad securely, and the keyboard is really great once open and you're using it. OTHER than being an absolute pain in the butt to open...it's GREAT.

I purchased this instead of Apple's Magic Keyboard because it's $100 cheaper and it has more features. First, it's an actual case for the iPad, not just a stand that the iPad sticks to. Second, the function keys on this keyboard allow me to lock/unlock my screen and interact with the iPad more easily than always relying on the touch controls and buttons. Third, there are more orientation options with this case than the Magic Keyboard. Sometimes I want the iPad flatter on the table or I don't need the keyboard at all. This keyboard case is the best out there for the iPad Pro right now.

It's great. Makes the 12.9 inch even heavier though since its thick. One thing I do recommend is turning off the brightness on the keyboard. I did not realize it even had lights at 1st and it was draining my iPad battery. To me I could barely see the light anyway so I just turned them all the way off. No more extra battery drain!

The design looks very nice. It protects the iPad quite nicely, offering protection all the way around. Keyboard works very well with a nice feel as you type. Only con's I would have is that the keyboard detaches easily, making it too easy for the keyboard to detach and fall,and the overall weight of the case is heavy. Otherwise, it does the job well.
