The keyboard and touch mouse feel just like those on a laptop, and it’s feels like you’re typing on a MacBook. The cloth texture feels high quality. This case is powered by the smart connector and doesn’t require extern charging, which makes it one of the few and perhaps only third-party case with that feature. Worth every penny!

Although they are not exactly the same both have keyboards and trackpads so for the money this Logitech wins every time.

The little stand is nice but there are times where you do wish you could use it on your lap and that’s the only area where this case disappoints. Orherwise, it’s flawless.

However, that value comes at a compromise. The footprint of your iPad once this is set up is much larger and clunkier than that of the apple Magic Keyboard. Aside from that complaint, it is a great device.

Better than Surface Pro w/ this case

I like the touchpad and the stand seems plenty sturdy. For me the magnet to keep the keyboard closed made it difficult to open easily. The lap space needed was also ma bit more than I desire. It was not usable on my lap as the angle was too low. All in all I returned this product and I am writing this review from my Apple Magic Keyboard. You can see that review if you search here on BB.

Much more versatile than the Magic Keyboard

While I liked the smaller footprint of the magic keyboard and the build quality and rigidity, the lack of a cover for the ipad and the requirement to detach the ipad to use it on a flat surface as a tablet made this product the clear winner for its versatility. The larger footprint hasn't been an issue for me as I don't sit it on my lap unless I'm using it as a tablet.

However, the lock button on right top corner needs to be adjusted as sometimes you can tap it unintentionally. The shortcut buttons on top are so good. Plus this keyboard gives your iPad overall protection which the apple magic key board does not. If you buy the space gray iPad, they will-perfectly match. I would recommend this product 2000 times.

I have had the Magic Keyboard and quality is the same. I love this case because it’s a better alternative to the Magic Keyboard You have a case that protects your iPad and can detach the keyboard at any time. Only issue is while Using the keyboard the iPad uses much more space. While the Magic Keyboard uses less real estate on the desk. Neither is good for hip use.
