I decided on this keyboard case over the Apple one because it seemed more sturdy. This one is perfect for holding your iPad Pro on your lap or sitting it on the arm of your recliner while using. (sectional sofa with no chance of iPad falling in floor) Love the feel of the keyboard. It is set up like the one that I use on my Mac so no awkward searching for keys. If you are going to be using you iPad Pro anywhere other than a desk or table, I recommend this one. Sure, it is a little bit heavier than the Apple one, but that is part of what makes it so sturdy and more like a laptop when you are using it.

I like this keyboard just fine, in spite of some of the negative comments I've seen elsewhere. It was easy to insert the pad, the pad's volume/lock keys work fine (tho the keyboard volume and lock keys are more convenient). The lit keys are sweet. It inverts flat no problem. The weight actually adds to the stability and my overall security -- I've already cracked screens on two earlier iPads. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to keep it, though Best Buy gives till January for returns over the holidays in case something even better comes along.

The magnet that is supposed to hold the portfolio closed isnt very strong. As a result, the case will not stay closed if placed vertically. It’s a shame as there are not many case choices for the 12.9 Pro, especially single piece cases with lighted keyboards. I ended up returning it and getting the Logitech Slim Combo Keyboard Folio Case.

Well I had to return it cause the space bar would just go off on its own tried to and gave in and spent more money and got the apple one

The cover works great, the keyboard sometimes doesn't work, but that's rare. I wish there was a spot for the pen to hold it.

Delays Can't use Apple pencil when connected. Also a lot of delays that should not be there with smart connect. Maybe an Apple problem

If you're a new iPad Pro owner and you need a keyboard, this is your best bet for your device, especially since it provides superior protection (thanks to a sturdy design) when compared to Apple's keyboard, which is also $10.00 more expensive. That said, it's a sure bet that superior options will appear in the months to come from companies like Targus and Clamcase. And at $150.00, it's not like this thing is cheap, which makes switching keyboard cases anything but trivial since we're not talking $20-$30 here. If you need something right away, go for it. The design is good (especially like the fabric on the outside) and the keyboard is solid. That said, it might also pay to wait a little while longer.

I've owned this case for about 9 months, and it's cracked on both sides, despite only being transported in a laptop sleeve and in a laptop protected area of a backpack. The IPad fits too tight, it's difficult to use the volume and sleep buttons. And now that it's cracked, the IPad often falls out. Not at all happy with this purchase.

I don't know what happened but this keyboard did not work as expected since day one. The softwares were updated so I really don't know but there was a delay in the typing and it was so slow. The keys will get stuck and keep typing the same letter over and over. I have a Logitech keyboard case for my iPad Air 2 and it has always worked flawlessly. I returned this one and bought the apple one.

It made the iPad to big and heavy, I took it back and got a thinner case.

I bought the CREATE Logitech keypad for use with the new iPad Pro. Many nice features, but unfortunately it's ergonomically limited and just doesn't have the key response of a traditional keyboard. It's slightly more bulky than their newer iPad slim keyboard, but my search continues.

My needs were simple: I wanted a case that would protect a klutz like me from dropping and destroying my thousand-dollar iPad. To that end, this is a perfect case: it's sturdy and easy to grip (it's covered with a course fabric). The keyboard works flawlessly, and it uses a magnetic connector that's strong enough to allow the whole thing to be lifted once it's connected. I am not sure why others had such difficulty inserting their iPad into this case. It was straightforward, although at first I wasn't sure it was seated properly. I think the diagram helped. Note that when you slide it in, it will depress the Lock button and the iPad will offer to shut down. The one complaint I do agree with is that the volume buttons are a little difficult to press. But I think you'd get that with any case. And yes, it ends up being a little heavy, approaching the weight of a laptop. But it's easy enough to pop the iPad out.

I love the look and feel of this key pad bu tit bugs me how I have to wait for it to "take a breather"

The keyboard is good but it doesn’t hold the iPad Pro tight enough and it can slide out.

My first one quit working soon after I purchased. It appeared one of the pins that connected to the iPad was pushed too far down to make contact. Best Buy replaced, but it wasn't too long before the same thing happened to the replacement. Don't waste your time or money.

The design of the keyboard rubs against the screen of the Ipad and could cause permanent damage. I will be returning it to Best Buy.

This product isn't worth $150 iPad doesn't stay in it at all. Now the little tabs have broken off so I'm taking it back for a new glad I got the warranty. Don't waste your money on this product.

First review I have written I think and the reason I'm writing it is because I think this product gets a bum wrap because people complain about bulk and weight at times. If you cover the iPad on both front and back you will add some bulk to the product. If you take the Apple Keybaord, and I'm an Apple fan, and it were to covered the back of the iPad I think the bulk will be similar to the Logitech. So it unfair to compare bulk and weight if one covers one halve and not the other. So if you set those aside what you get from the Logitech is the Top Fucntion Key row absent from the Apple Keyboard and the backlit keyboard when working on dim lighting. I have use this product with the keyboard and with the iPad collapsed on the keyboard on the sofa etc and I'm able to manage with it pretty well but you will notice the weight a little but it's a small price to pay in my option for the benefit you get from the product. I think overtime this material will fair better than the Apple because I think it leans it self to withstand a little more and keep its appearance but only time will tell.

Nothing special.....no light up......no great thing that one needs
