I've had a Logitech mouse for years (M185), and bought this cute one to match my mom's new laptop cover. Its just slightly smaller than the M185. Setup was simple, just plugged in the usb receiver and the mouse connected immediately. The grey finger rests on the sides are slightly rubberized. The cosmic design area & white area are both smooth, but the area with the design feels slightly less textured than the white part.

Beautiful Blue Aurora color

I walked into the store and it was the first one that caught my eye. I was replacing a worn out mouse where the buttons stopped functioning and I have this same model for my work computer. The mouse shape fits the hand very well and the color is beautiful. Can't go wrong with Logitech. I consider myself lucky to have nabbed this little jewel.
