I've had a Logitech mouse for years (M185), and bought this cute one to match my mom's new laptop cover. Its just slightly smaller than the M185. Setup was simple, just plugged in the usb receiver and the mouse connected immediately. The grey finger rests on the sides are slightly rubberized. The cosmic design area & white area are both smooth, but the area with the design feels slightly less textured than the white part.

The wheel on the mouse has two settings- one is a click at a time but it feels like the wheel is loose and falling off. The other setting the wheel rotates so smoothly it often slides backward away from your target. Other than that, works fine. same with the keyboard. The keys are laid out over a small rise and maybe that's supposed to be good ergonomically, but it's a odd sensation and takes a bit to get used to. they had a promotion to turn in an old set which was very nice and appreciatedd.
