I decided to keep it and use it myself and I am so glad I did. Depending on the task I'm trying to accomplish, using this mouse is 2-3 times faster than using the touchpad on my laptop. On the rare occasions the mouse is not at hand, I immediately notice how inconvenient the touchpad has become after having this mouse. I also want to add that the size is a little smaller which actually feels really comfortable. I needed to use my old desktop for something recently and was surprised how big and clunky the old wireless mouse felt. Overall I'm really happy with this mouse and glad my daughter didn't like the color. LOL

The battery came with the mouse but it needed only one AA. I really love the flowers design.
