Many a time I must go to another link and come back to the one that was not responding and try again......usually works.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super cute and quickly confiscated is what my wife said and did when I received the Logitech compact Chirpy Bird design mouse. This is a quick and easy review with a 5-star mouse that I gave five stars. First, this series of Logitech mice / mouses (I do not know the correct plural here) are elite and simply superior to anything else. They earn this by having super long battery life spans. By being able to take a few bumps and bruises due to their quality designing. Then by being able to ergonomically feel pretty great for such a small dainty mouse under even my large "Manly" hands. Then this Chirpy Bird (which has no birds?) is also a little touch of special with its color pattern and leaf overlay design. The mouse is great and will make a fine choice for anyone.

I tried different brands of batteries and it would only work for a few minutes. I tried using foil to help keep the battery touching the contact and it only worked for a few minutes. Energizer batteries don't work at all. I have had Logitech mice in the past and they were fine.

Posted .Hello AuntB, So sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the battery not fitting in the Design Collection Wireless Mouse. The mouse came with a pre-installed AA battery that should fit snugly into the compartment. If that isn't the case, then it sounds like there's a hardware issue which would fall under warranty.
