Changing the battery was of little help so I got this mouse. I found that the issue was much improved but not completely gone. After working with this mouse I found there were areas on my desk where the mouse would stop working . With the old mouse it was less obvious because it would stop working almost everywhere. I keep my PC under my desk so I found there were certain dead spots that were "out of Range" when the Bluetooth had to go through the desk. Once I got a USB extender and put the receiver on my desk the issues went away. I would say the range of 10 meter (6Ft) is not strong enough for a PC on the floor. Other than that I put the mouse through it's paces and it is really nice. I have been working a project that requires scrolling through hundreds of thousands of lines in several Excel spreadsheets (file permissions spreadsheets) the scroll is smooth as I have to scroll quickly though looking at changes in data. The look, feel and motion is about the same as every other mouse. If I had to ask for one change it would be a stronger Bluetooth signal but this is not just an experience with this mouse it has happened with others.
