Great mouse, especially when you don't really care how the trackpad responds to you. Just realize that it'll use one of your USB ports so make sure you have enough USB ports to connect other peripherals.

My Top 10 favorite aspects of this wireless optical mouse: 1. Really good looking! I like the color and design. 2. Ample room for my fingers on the top and the side. 3. The texture on top is smooth, while the rubber surface makes it easy to grip the sides. 4. I no longer have to place cloth or paper under the mouse to get the cursor to move. I can use the mouse directly on my dining room table or even my leg. 5. The on/off switch shows red/green making it easier to confirm if the mouse is on. 6. The cursor control was perfectly sensitive making it super easy to scroll up/down on the screen and in documents. 7. The ability to store the Unifying receiver under the battery cover means it won’t get lost and it always conveniently at hand. 8. The fact that the mouse “naps” when not in use means I won’t have to change the battery so often. 9. At 2.85 ounces, it is the lightest mouse I have used. That, combined with its size, means it won't take up more space in your briefcase. 10. I walked about 6 feet away from my laptop and I could still use the mouse! This will come in handy when doing presentations. Drawbacks: 1. There is only 1 drawback. While the plug and play USB receiver quickly connected with my laptop, it took up the only USP port that I have available. The option for a USB-C port or better yet, Bluetooth connectivity would be that only improvement I would ask. I’d give the M317 Design Collection Wireless Optical Mouse with Nano Receiver a 4.5 out of 5 stars due to the one drawback, but to be honest, Logitech doesn’t advertise that is connects via Bluetooth. Therefore, I will round up to a 5.

I have been using these for years. I like that they come in a great selection of colors too.

The on & off switch on back doesn't light up and it's a bit difficult to slide over to either side.

Could do without the hippies and talking dog that come out of it and try and solve mysteries on my 5 year old's desk. We know where the glue came from Fred, you aren't some great detective. Its a 5 year old's desk.

Seem to be a good mouse if you on a regular computer/laptop. I didn't think it was compatible with my Mac pro. Returning for refund. I have a HP laptop but it already has a mouse that works great.
