    I had no luck installing this mouse. Something in it was defective, either the mouse itself or the usb receiver. I tried so many times with no success. By the time my daughter was able to come and try and declare it was product and not user error, it was too late to return it. I’ve had a Logitech mouse before with no problem, so I think I just got a bad egg. So, make sure you pay attention to return dates! I bought it on sale and my return period was a lot shorter than I realized.

    broken after 14 months. i hate this mouse! its cheaply build and broken right after warranty. Logitech won't send replacement.

    This is a model M317 - scrolls loudly and poorly

    Just picked this up from Best Buy today. I was trying to replace my old M325 mouse which finally died and thought this would be the same model (based on another website claim). This is actually an M317 model - which you will not discover in the online specs - you have to physically open the package to read that essential info. It looks just like an M325, same size, etc. The glaring difference is, scroll wheel is VERY rough and loud - sounds like a bear scratching its back on a tree! And it does not scroll well at all. I may have received a defective unit, who knows, but it is getting returned tomorrow! It is attractive, tho - points for that.

      I am sorry that you didn't enjoy the M317 as you previously enjoyed the M325. To your point, these two units look very similar, but they are not the exact model. The M317 is the Design Collection Limited Edition, and it should only differ from the M325 aesthetically. Still, Logitec values your product input, so they are constantly improving their product and services. Regarding the M317 scrolling wheel, I suspect the mouse might have been too new and needed a little braking-in. Luckily, Logitech got you covered, and you can always exchange your product with your retailer or contact Logitech support at https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393&mID=13617.

    I like it a lot--cute and small but not too small. However, it didn't last a month! It waited to quit until 9 days past the returnable stage. Don't waste your money!

    Does not come with a unifying receiver.

    I ordered this mouse because I need a unifying receiver, but this one doesn't come with the unifying receiver. I understand that Logitech wants to remove this feature from their entry level products and differentiate them from the more expensive model. But why didn't you just simply update the specifications and pictures. Many people are returning them for that same reason. You are just wasting resources and everyone's time.

    Crappy Logitech mouse for MacBook Air

    This was a crappy purchase. I ordered a mouse that would seamlessly interface with a 2021 MacBook Air and this stupid thing would not do that. I would up buying a legitimate NEW mouse from Apple. Should done that in the first place. Never again.

    I give this product a zero rating as the mouse stopped working after a couple of weeks and tried to return but Best Buy only allows returns within a few days. I will not buy anything from you again.

    I may have a "defective one" but I constantly must press down "hard" sometimes two or three times. Many a time I must go to another link and come back to the one that was not responding and try again......usually works.

    Best buy people don't know how to read or help. Floor manager even admitted she never gets off her but to help. You would have better luck buying from logitech or amazon.

    Batteries don't fit, too loose. I tried different brands of batteries and it would only work for a few minutes. I tried using foil to help keep the battery touching the contact and it only worked for a few minutes. Energizer batteries don't work at all. I have had Logitech mice in the past and they were fine.

      Hello AuntB, So sorry to hear about the issue you're having with the battery not fitting in the Design Collection Wireless Mouse. The mouse came with a pre-installed AA battery that should fit snugly into the compartment. If that isn't the case, then it sounds like there's a hardware issue which would fall under warranty.     Stopped working within a month. I bought two of these for my kids for school and one stopped working within 3 weeks of school starting. For $20. I need it to work longer than that.
