Owned for 9 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i give 4 stars because, although the trackball works flawlessly initially, the contacts the ball itself rides on start wearing away making it more challenging to be stop at precise positions. i fine i use it for about 6 months and then i need a new one. i'm going to start looking for 1 that had steel contacts that will wear better. until they're worn, the trackball works great. i always make sure i have a back-up

However, Logitech continues to have a serious issue with the roller wheel and it stops working. I have had to replace several of the mouse because of this issue, and this one is less than a year old. If it is not under warranty, I will look to replace with a totally different brand as I won't trust Logitech anymore.
