    Not like previous ipad folio

Very disappointed that the cover does not fold back like previous folios so that you can easily ready in portrait mode - without handling the keyboard. When you fold back the cover your hands/fingers are touching the keyboard - and not the back of the cover. I'm considering returning it.

Hi Doug, thank you for sharing your experience with the Folio Touch. I'm sorry that the new design did not meet your expectations with how the keyboard is exposed when folded back. The keyboard is detachable so you can remove it when holding it in portrait so that you're not pressing the keys. Thank you for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logtech.

Incredibly poor quality. My first Folio Touch Keyboard died after about 18-months and was outside of warranty. I purchased a replacement, figuring I was just unfortunate. My second keyboard just died after about 14-months, again outside of warranty. For something with so few moving parts, it's curious why they don't offer a warranty longer than 12-months. The obvious answer is the quality is poor and they don't last more than 1-1/2 years. I've learned my lesson and will be moving on.

Adds quite a bit of weight and also uses a lot of real estate since the “stand” is in the back. If you’re looking for something lightweight, this is not the folio for you.

Awesome functionality and a WOWZER for the price!

I rarely take the time to write reviews unless I am really impressed with a product and this one is impressive! My husband opted for the Apple magic keyboard on his iPad Air. Although it is sleek looking in black, it gets dirty quite easily (actually ALL the time), does not have the function keys and I just could not get the viewing angle of my liking while typing or watching anything while testing it out. It was just not worth the price to me and actually frustrating. I am SO GLAD I went with the Logitech Folio Touch instead which hubby is actually envious about! Not only is it for half the price, but it has the function keys which also include adjustments for the keyboard backlight (my favorite thing about it to type in the dark)! I know that most people don’t like using it on their laps, but really, a pillow or some cushion is enough to prop it stably. It is not a big deal to me (I use my lap most of the time on the recliner). I don’t mind the weight as I feel much more safe with the all round protection it provides along with a magnetic flap to secure the Apple Pencil safely while charging it (hubby lost his within a week as the Apple magic keyboard leaves the pencil easy to lose). Typing feels easy and incredible to me despite my plump fingers and the mousepad is great. I changed the setting to the “tap to click” so I don’t need to figure out the pressure or right place to click. There was only one time in the last month and a half that the trackpad felt frozen momentarily, but a quick taking the iPad off and putting it back on corrected it. There have been no issues since. Thanks to another customer who mentioned the correct model (starts with a 9), mine has the cutout for the touch ID with zero issues. I love all the viewing angles it gives. When I want to use it in tablet mode to draw, I just fold the keyboard to the back which automatically disables typing interference - what a genius idea! It only takes one or two times to get used to the feel of the keys folded back. I cannot believe that my iPad is now my computer that I carry around easily everywhere! The design is still attractive and I have yet to get dirt on it unlike hubby’s more expensive magic keyboard which needs to be cleaned all the time. For those reluctant to get the magic keyboard due to the price, pick this! You couldn’t get a better product with much more functionality. Just have a teensy bit of patience with the lap use/weight until you get used to it. It sets beautifully on a flat surface. I have zero regrets and have not given the Apple magic keyboard a second thought!

An excellent, yet thick, alternative to Apple's KB

I've had a Logitech keyboard folio, in addition to Apple's keyboard product, for every iPad Pro I've owned (my current one is my third, and the first of the "new" 11" form factor). This keyboard folio works perfectly with the NEW iPad Air 10.9 (2020 design) as well as the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro 11" - Which I own. This thing is made tough with strong polycarbonate frame and keyboard, but its covered in a soft-touch, textured, almost fabric-like material, giving it a woven finish. Its very reminiscent of some of Google's cases for the Pixel line in finish, as its gives the impression of fabric, while still being plastic and looks like it would hold up to dirt and debris pretty well. As I mentioned, the frame is strong, holds the iPad securely, and (unlike the Apple solution) protects the sides and corners of the iPad. Not only does the folio hold the iPad snugly and securely, but it also attaches the "Smart Connector" to the keyboard portion through the tablet case, so this folio uses Apple's native connector for Keyboard power and connection. This is a RARE find in 3rd party accessories and shows how closely Logi must have collaborated with Apple to develop this. They've done this before, but seemed to abandon the practice in the past few products, so I'm thrilled to see it back in such a comfy and slick form factor. The folio also has a "flap strap" which magnetically secures it closed, and can also be folded back when in-use to stay out of the way and clasps both to the keyboard to hold things closed, and to the back of the tablet case to keep things tidy while in active use. This also provides a safety to the Apple Pen, which charges on top of the iPad Pro and Air, and is held on by this strap when closed. Speaking of that, the Apple Pen docking to the iPad Pro/Air is fully supported by this case, another rarity in some 3rd party folios. This thing is thick as the keyboard is a bit bulkier than Apple's style-defining Magic Keyboard for iPad, but its also significantly more protective. This is now my go-to case for the iPad when I'm going to be on the road in harsh conditions or when traveling using it regularly on planes (Once that becomes normal again) and when camping where I bring the iPad as my only computer because its battery can hold up and I sometimes need to connect to the office when getting away.
