another battletank mouse from logitech.its been tough tested

I love Logitech mouses but it seems like every mouse I buy it has some type of issue with it. This mouse will randomly slow down or speed up without me touching the settings. It'll annoyingly last for anywhere between 10-25m. Unfortunately I can't return because the window to do that has passed.

If you don’t mind using a wired mouse, you can’t go wrong with this Logitech – G Pro Wired Optical Gaming Mouse. The design and shape is simple and traditional which makes it very easy to use. The lighting features are pretty cool and can be fine-tuned using the downloadable software including turning the lights off entirely which is what I ended up doing. The software allows you to control many other features and settings which are all actually stored on the mouse’s on-board memory which means the settings will carry-over to any other computer with which the mouse is used, even if that system does not have the Logitech software installed. As far as performance goes, the mouse is very responsive and accurate and the middle dpi button makes switching dpi settings instantaneous which can really come in handy in certain gaming situations. Overall, if your gaming needs do not require you to use a wireless mouse, this Logitech – G Pro Wired Optical Gaming Mouse would be an excellent choice and I highly recommend it!

The left button of the mouse starts to have the double-clicking problem within 1 year of use. Everything works fine until the issue happens, the lifetime of the clicks is questionable.

This would be another near-perfect mouse from Logitech, but it's a bit small. Unless you're a teenager, this mouse isn't going to be comfortable for long sessions of whatever you're doing. Just be aware.

This mouse began to double-click for me in a few months. Do not buy this product. Additionally, the logitech customer support has done nothing but send me emails asking for endless videos to prove this doesn't work instead of actually servicing their product. Find something else to buy instead of this garbage.

I'm not a fan of mice with weird shapes and numerous programmable buttons. Personally, I find that the odd shape and buttons get in my way more than they help. I know many people like the odd shaped mice with numerous buttons but I don't. This mouse has the normal round contoured shape and fits the hand perfectly. It also has good grip during intense gaming although I wish it were a tad heavier. Although it's not one of those mice that looks like it's about to transform into an Autobot, this mouse does have a few extra buttons and one in particular can constantly get in the way. That would be the DPI adjustment button. It constantly gets in the way whenever I try to use the scroll wheel too quickly. Considering how everything during a game happens very quickly, I was inadvertently hitting the button a lot at first. The button can be modified in the Logitech Gaming software but it's annoying for anyone who wants to get started with the mouse right out of the box. The mouse is fast and precise as expected. It's very accurate during gameplay and I love the tracking. It provides fast pinpoint precision. When desired, DPI can be adjusted on the fly for faster or slower tracking. All buttons are mappable/programmable and there are several gaming profiles already embedded in the software/firmware. The amount of LED lighting on the mouse is perfect. It's visible enough to match the LED illuminated gaming case, keyboard, speakers and mousepad that it shares the desk with but it's also subtle enough to avoid LED overkill. I like LED illuminated rigs but not illuminated to the point of looking like a cheesy casino on the Vegas Strip. All of my peripherals, including this mouse, have minimal LED lighting. So far, I have no complaints with this mouse. It's getting the job done and in enjoyable fashion. The price point is fantastic when it's on sale (usually for half off the MSRP) and I like that it offers the features I want and leaves out what I don't care for. This isn't a wireless mouse but I prefer gaming with a corded mouse for better performance, better reliability and no need to charge or replace batteries for the mouse, lighting or both. I have a ton of cheap wireless mice for desktop duties. In fact, I also use a wireless Bluetooth mouse on the same rig for routine desktop tasks.

Paid a lot of money for this mouse and it only lasted 2 months before the buttons started double clicking. Best Buy will not allow an exchange!
