I bought this keyboard due to the wireless keyboard charging cable stopped working. Who ever added a cord that is removable for a wired keyboard, I dislike you. After 3 months of usage, the cable on this one is going in and out, where I have to pull it at angles to get it to work. There is plenty of slack, and nothing causing damage to the cord, nor do I move or unplug my keyboard, I would honestly go for a keyboard that doesn't have a removable cord for a non wireless keyboard. It is pointless and causes connection issues after a couple months.

      Hello Grimix,
I am sorry that you are having issues with the PRO Keyboard. This is not a common issue since the micro USB connector has a wing design that prevents the connection from loosen up with time. However, since you are having problems with this connection, I recommend trying the G413 TLK that comes with a fixed cable. I hope this information is helpful. Logitech appreciates your product review. - Leo from Logitech

Way overpriced for such flimsy keycaps

Was very excited when I first bought this because I generally love Logitech products, but this keyboard has proven to be the exception. The updated G Hub software needed to program the keyboard is extremely bad, and forced me to use this new app with all my other Logitech devices as well, which were previously working just fine with the old Logitech Gaming Software, but now I have problems with these devices daily because of the awful "updated" software I'm forced to use. I learned to deal with the software problems but now just barely six months after buying the keyboard I already have a broken keycap. This keyboard seems to be of extremely solid construction, except for some inexplicable reason the keycaps are attached to the switches with just two tiny flimsy plastic clips. If you want to remove the keycaps and clean your keyboard with any regularity, you WILL end up breaking these fragile clips off and end up unable to reattach the keycaps to the switches. I've bought keyboards that were a fraction of the cost of this one that proved to be way more durable. I've never had keys just break on a keyboard like this, and I've spent most of my life for the last two decades in front of one for at least eight hours every day. Extremely disappointed, this keyboard is way too expensive to have such a stupid and glaring design flaw.

Looks great, software has worked well so far and the larger surface area on the keys make it really easy to type and not miss keys. Annoying that I brought it for 200 then a week later it was 175. Another annoyance is that the alternative key symbols(the shift+key) aren't back-lit so I have a hard time finding some keys when I am using it in the dark.

This should just be the standard for keyboards. Didn’t realize just how much I would use the gkeys honestly because I don’t game with macros. But while I’m animating or browsing its insane. I’ve paired it with the Logitech g502 hero; they are the most powerful Peripherals you’re can get.

      Hey Squeepz!
LOVE that you're calling your G815 the standard for keyboards. This is the one I'm currently using and I couldn't agree more. I'm right there with you on the GKeys, never thought I would use them so often for things as simple as cut/copy/paste. If you're on Instagram come show off your gaming setup with us on our @logitechg account, we love seeing that stuff!

Love Logitech keyboards and mice. I have tried other manufacturers and they all work, but sales always seem to go in their favor at the time I am looking to purchase new ones. Ghub software works for me just fine. I can’t complain.

Logitech advertises this as having the Romer-G switch, which is what the Logitech G910 has. My kids have the Logitech G910, so I used both. The feel is nowhere the same. The G910 feel is infinitely better and more responsive - just a far better product. I got better response and feel from my $60 G-Skill mechanical keyboard, so this is going back. Felt more like a cherry-mx red switch, with the clicks. Again, not a Romer-G switch.

Hello ultrapain! Sorry to hear the switches of your G Pro Mechanical Wired Gaming Keyboard are not what you expected them to be. What I'll say is, the version of the G Pro keyboard mentioned in this review is the newer version of the G Pro keyboard, which now includes GX Blue Clicky switches, so not the Romer-G anymore. The previous generation of the G Pro keyboard did have the Romer-G Tactile switches in it, but I don't believe it is being sold anymore. Like the newer version with the GX Blue Clicky switches, we have a version called the Pro X, (only sold on the Logitech website), which does include your choice of GX Blue, GX Brown (Tactile) and GX Red (Linear), so it sounds like the GX Brown version might be a better fit for what you're looking. - Mathieu from Logitech
