Excellent Top of the Line Gaming Mouse

Overall this is a superior mouse. The packaging is superior and done well. Let's start with the weight of the mouse. For me, I love the super lightweight. You almost forget you have a mouse in your hand. It is so lightweight and easy to move, you do it without thinking about it. It flows amazingly across the screen. The "feel" of the mouse is great as well. It is a super smooth plastic that feels great in your hands. It isn't sticky at all and just feels great. You can add different grip "stickers" that are included to make it perfect for you. The ON/OFF button is easy to access on the bottom. I love the easy access to the "door" on the bottom of the mouse as well. A simple little magnet keeps the door closed. As for settings and customization, there are beyond many! This thing can be programmed to do so many things and in so many ways. The menus are fairly easy to follow and you can assign many functions to all or some of the buttons on this mouse. The Logitech G-Hub has so many options and functions. I got this hooked up right away on my iMac and my PC with zero issues. Do make sure to download the latest driver from the Logitech website. Easy to do. The "on board" memory will be useful for many gamers. Great addition to a mouse. Battery life is superior. Hours and hours of use and I'm still at 94%. The best I have ever seen, by far. Bottom line is that this is the best wireless mouse I have ever used. Logitech hit a home run. It really is a no brainer. If you are looking for a superior mouse in every way, this is it! Highly recommended.
We're thrilled to hear about your wonderful PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2 experience, and we appreciate you taking the time to mention every great feature that will undoubtedly benefit others. Our aim at Logitech is to ensure that customers appreciate our products as much as we do. Thanks a lot!

Same great classic shape and feel, now with USBC!
I guess Logitech jumped on the same train as Apple for their product refresh finally converting to USBC, which is very welcome to reduce on extra cable types all over the place.
Other than that, it’s the same mouse as previous gen for the most part. Comfortable, quiet, accurate, light.

TL;DR
Pros
-Very light weight
-Newer HERO 2 sensor (Response time up to .5 secs)
-higher dpi limit (up to 32000)
-Long but slim on the sides
-Responsive and easy to click buttons
-Matte finish with silver and white pieces
-USB C charging port
Cons
-none
Note - The target demographic are FPS players but can be used by anyone looking for a lighter mouse
Now let's start by stating my experience with Logitech and their mouses. I started using their peripherals in 2014 and my first mouse in 2017 for my first PC build. I’ve owned several of their products throughout the years and also explored my options with other brands. Personally I would say the go to brand for mouses that i would recommend is Logitech. Why? because they usually offer a good balance of looks, performance, variety, and quality.
Now on to the review for the SUPERLIGHT 2 - This mouse has everything you are looking for, if you are trying to step up your game in FPSs. The weight of this mouse will make it feel like your hand is floating, it will take some practice to get used to the weight but you will definitely be able to hit those flicks easier. The solid finish makes it feel like a regular mouse with a rigid structure, but gives you the same benefits of a perforated shell. If you are a wrist player the 32000 max dpi and more accurate optical sensor will definitely come in handy. I personally have small hands but surprisingly the mouse does not feel big and allows me to play in a claw style in games like Valorant. You still get 2 side buttons by thumb (if you are right handed) which can be assigned to anything you would like with the Logitech G Hub software. There are also many other options you can adjust through the software (such as game type, sensitivity through x,y coordinates, and recalibration of the sensor) but it also keeps the front page simple if you do not want to mess with those other options. I honestly cannot recommend Logitech enough and the SUPERLIGHT 2 did not disappoint. If you are in the market for a new mouse I highly recommend this one.

This mouse never fails to be consistent. If you want a mouse that will do just that, go for this mouse. The weight and the clicks make this mouse feel very luxurious, and with the recently added 8K polling rate, my aim has never been better. One complaint I have are the stock skates applied, they suck. If you can spend the extra 10-20 dollars on after market skates they make the overall feel of the mice even better.
Overall, for what the mouse provides out of the box, and it being relatively plug and play, this is by far the best mouse I've used.

When it comes to gaming peripherals, Logitech is always a solid option. I have had many logitech mouses and headsets in the past and currently use a Logitech G733 Headset, so when I saw that I could review this Superlight 2, I immediately jumped at the chance. I have had the chance to test out this mouse over the past few days and test it by itself as well as against another mainstream option in the Glorious Model O that I had been using prior to this one.
The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse itself is and will be, in my opinion, a very strong option moving forward for buyers to consider if not the favorite option to consider. It delivers on the advertised blazing response time with a polling rate of 2,000 hz (I was able to record a max value of 2015hz) and insane battery life of 95 hours (During my 3 days of testing post software update, The Superlight 2 only fell from 55% to 51% with heavy usage, so this mouse will likely last you quite a bit before needing to be charged). The Superlight 2 is also equipped with the new HERO2 sensor featuring tracking over 500 inches per second, an up to 32,000 max DPI, and a USB Type-C port for charging when needed. All of this also comes in a package weighing just 60 grams, 7 grams lighter than my Glorious Model O. The Superlight 2 also has the advantage of being truly wireless while delivering the same level of performance. For anyone gaming on the go, or just wanting that fully wireless set-up, that could be the deciding factor between the two.
In Conclusion, I have been very impressed with this mouse. For the price of $160, I find the Superlight 2 to bring pretty fair value. Yes, it is expensive, but as a refresh of a currently top-selling mouse that is coming in at the same price, I believe it should sell just as well.

Retiring my tried and true wired G502 from 2018 this has been a worthwile update. I was concerned about the wireless over wired but honestly wireless has improved so much that it at least feels like movement and imputs are the same if not more responsive. The only thing to get used to is the lack of auxiliary buttons that the g502. A small trade off for a lighter and snappier experience.

A++ Gaming Mouse. Incredibly Lightweight

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is a wireless gaming mouse that offers a lightweight design, long battery life, and smooth performance. At only 60 grams, this mouse is one of the lightest mice on the market. The mouse also features a HERO2 sensor, which delivers up to 32,000 DPI and zero smoothing or filtering. The mouse has five programmable buttons, a DPI switch, and a PTFE feet for low friction. The battery life is now up to 95-hours, which is now charged with a USB-C cable (Thank you, LOGITECH!), and the mouse itself is POWERPLAY compatible. I still am blown away by how incredible this mouse performs, and how insanely light it is. I get ZERO fatigue in my shoulder using this mouse, which has been a problem in the past with heavier mice.
The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is a great choice for gamers who value speed, accuracy, and comfort. The mouse is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Chrome OS devices. The mouse comes with a USB receiver, a USB-C cable, an optional grip tape (which is LOVE), and an optional receiver extension adapter.
Overall, this is one of the best, if not the best gaming mice out there. For competitive gamers, the PTFE fee and HERO2 sensor alone are enough to keep you in the game. The superior lightweight of the G Pro X Superlight 2 drives its worth through the roof. I love this mouse and highly recommend people give this bad boy a try.

i was in the market for a new gaming mouse after my razer viper ultimate started to show its age. having used various razer and steelseries mice over the years, i was eager to try out a logitech offering. the superlight 2 checks off everything i am looking for in a mouse: excellent wireless performance, great battery life, USB-C connectivity, and great ergonomics. it doesn't have RGB lightning but let's be real, do you really need lights on a high-performance mouse?

The Superlight 2 is another great PC gaming peripheral from Logitech. The most notable thing about this mouse is absolutely its weight, or lack thereof. 60g is LIGHT. It took a few days to get used to, but now I love it. Compared to my beefy, wired Logitech G502 Proteus, the Superlight 2 is easy to whip around, which has been especially helpful when playing FPS games. The PTFE feet provide virtually no resistance. As Logitech advertises, the mechanical switches are crisp and provide the perfect amount of tactile feedback. Lightspeed is no gimmick as this mouse tracks at over 500 IPS. If there is any latency, it’s imperceivable. The included adapter makes it easy to keep your USB-A to USB-C charging cable close by. In the event that you’re in the middle of a game and need some juice, simply unplug the adapter and plug the USB-C charging cable directly into your mouse. It will continue to function normally even when plugged in. This is a great design. The final thing worth noting about any Logitech product is their great software integration. The G Hub app makes it easy to view battery life, change DPI, save profiles, and adjust any other necessary settings. As a package, this mouse is fantastic and I think it should be on your list if you’re in the market for a new gaming mouse.

Great specs in a Light Weight mouse
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Pros:
- Superlight weight at 60 grams
- LIGHTFORCE Hybrid switches for fast actuation with a solid feedback click
- High resolution and polling for precision and responsiveness
- Includes grip pads to aid in gripping the mouse
- Up to 95 hours battery life
- Includes a receiver extension adapter and cable
- There is storage for the dongle when not in use
Cons:
- No dedicated dpi switch or dpi led indicator on the mouse
- No RGB lighting
- Limited thumb rest/indent for gripping mouse
- The software isn’t the most intuitive
The Superlight 2 Lightspeed mouse isn’t flashy, it looks and feels like a standard mouse. Although its about the same physical size as other light weight gaming mice I own it feels smaller in my hand which is most probably due to its lower profile. There isn’t much of a thumb rest or indent and the scroll wheel sits taller than what I am used to. Overall with the grip pads installed the mouse is quite comfortable and easy to grip. The mouse has great specs with resolution up to 32000 dpi and polling rates up to 2000 hz so it is very responsive. The low weight at 60 gms lets this mouse glide across my mouse pad and the included PTFE door makes it even slipperier. The LIGHTFORCE Hybrid Switches give solid feedback but the clicking sound is a tad louder than most. Logitech includes a USB-A to a USB-C cable that can be used as a wireless extender as well as to charge the mouse. On the downside the mouse doesn’t have a dedicated dpi switch nor does it have an led indicator as to what the dpi is set to. You can get this information via the G Hub software but its not easy to do that mid game. The G Hub software allows you to configure the resolution, polling rate and mouse profiles. I found the software not to be the most intuitive but you can select from preconfigured profiles, game/app based profiles or create custom ones. The mouse can store 5 profiles in its memory.
We value your amazing input and are pleased that you appreciated our product as much as we do. Our main objective is your satisfaction. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us such a positive review. Keep Playing!

A disappointing downgrade from the original

After owning 2 copies of the original G Pro X Superlight, I was excited for an upgrade to one of my favorite mice.
The shape is unchanged and still remains the same as the previous superlight, and the first release, the G Pro Wireless. This shape works well for essentially all grip styles and feels great to aim with.
The weight is essentially identical to the original superlight, which can be considered disappointing to those who hoped for a lower weight.
The coating on the mouse is nothing special; you aren't getting a rubberized coating like on Vaxee or Zowie mice, or the more recent Razer mice. This leads to a very mediocre grip feeling, and the included rubber grips don't do a great job at improving that either. I would definitely opt for aftermarket grip tape if you have very dry hands.
The scroll wheel feels decent quality, nothing special, but no issues whatsoever, which is great for those of us who use scroll wheel to jump in-game.
The side buttons feel decent, but still worse than many of the other mice on the current market, as they're much smaller, and don't feel as light and crispy as some of the better side button implementations.
The mouse skates are decent. The lack of rounded edges makes them not feel great on softer mousepads as you'll get more of a "digging" feeling, so I would replace them with alternative ptfe skates if you are using a soft/x-soft mousepad.
The sensor quality feels great and is smooth, absolutely no concerns there. There had been some reports of sensor spin-outs but it seems they fixed those through a firmware upsate, and shouldn't be a concern to buyers in the future.
The build quality and quality control on my unit is where my feelings go from unimpressed to downright disappointed. The sides had slightly more flex than my original superlights, but nothing too noticeable for it to be a concern, however after essentially a days worth of use I noticed that both my left and right click had become very very loose feeling, as if the tensioning screws that keep the clicks in place weren't fully tightened, or the tolerances of the click pieces weren't up to par. This accompanied by the less tactile feeling of the optical switches compared to the original superlights standard mechanical seitches, lead to a less than optimal click feeling.
At first this issue seemed minimal, as I figured the click feel shouldn't effect in game performance too much, but the looseness of the clicks created a grinding sensation alongside an overall rattly feel in the clicks that was EXTREMELY distracting in game.
Being advertised as an esports/competitive gaming mouse, any buyers are likely looking for the best they can get, and this feels subpar to the other current releases.
I would recommend purchasing the original superlight (which is cheaper!) for a better experience. For those of you who dislike the shape of the g pro, but want a symmetrical mouse still, I would look towards the Razer viper v3 pro. If you are looking for an ergonomic shape, then I would opt for a Razer deathadder v3 pro.
I hope for future iterations of the g pro, logitech can take some inspiration from the other top dogs in the high-end gaming mice scene, such as Finalmouse, Razer, Vaxee, and Zowie.

Review of the LOGITECH GPX SUPERLIGHT 2 Gaming Mouse
The LOGITECH GPX SUPERLIGHT 2 stands out with its impressive technical specifications and outstanding performance. Weighing in at just around 63 grams, this ultra-lightweight design makes it ideal for fast, precise movements without causing hand fatigue over extended gaming sessions.
Equipped with Logitech's HERO 25K sensor, it offers exceptional tracking accuracy with a DPI range up to 25,600. This ensures precise control, whether you're sniping in an FPS or micro-managing in an RTS. The mouse features zero-additive PTFE feet, which contribute to its remarkable smoothness, allowing for effortless glides across any surface.
With a battery life of up to 70 hours on a single charge and a latency-free LIGHTSPEED wireless connection, it delivers consistent, lag-free performance. The symmetrical shape and responsive buttons add to its ergonomic appeal, making it suitable for various grip styles.
