People think that you need a real overhaul to call it an update but the new sensor and usb-c was fine enough for me. if you love your 1st gen super light i'd say and it's beat up i'd say upgrade. only gripe is that it's more on the expensive side compared to some other "premium" mice.

Easily the best and lightest wireless mouse I have ever used. I own the original version of this mouse, and the SUPERLIGHT 2 has some small improvements, such as a slightly lower weight. I would highly recommend either of the versions.

Extremely precise with an excellent formfactor and very balanced weighting (at least for hybrid grips). Battery life is also fantastic, with no noticeable latency over wireless. The only small gripe I have is with the charging cable, it's not quite as pliable as some USB cables and with the low weight of the mouse causes some noticeable bind when plugged in.

g pro wireless to g pro wireless superlight v2

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the mouse is a much needed improvement from my previous g pro wireless. i before had the base version and the dongle was much flimsier and not well made causing it to break in a month and a half resulting in me being forced to go wireless. you will definitely feel a weight difference if you’re used to heavier mice but see a better glide and the switches in the mouse are much better. the fact it has 2 side buttons is nice but i liked the 4 as i could do more with those and reprogram them for other purposes. this mouse is very responsive and great to use. helped me become more precise while gaming and while working just an overall better mouse to use

Needed a second mouse for my other workstation so got this new baby. Works great, same great ergonomic feeling and buttons are crisp. Usb c is great

Minor upgrades but good

I will say the new switches need time to getting used to and broken in but aren’t terrible just a little springy? The more you use it the less it becomes springy and it’ll feel like a regular mouse click. I don’t like how they changed the mouse skate layout however but other than that it’s a solid upgrade if you’re looking for one.
