I couldn’t tell you about the mic as I usually rip them out and just use my Yeti, the sound quality is very good and the headset it extremely light. Could use a bit more range on the headset but overall battery is solid and I charge once every couple weeks and it just is an easy recommendation for anyone using PC. Connected to a USB HUB that is fairly close so I personally have never experienced any interference.

Took a little bit of troubleshooting to get discord and my settings all correct but now that ive had these for a few months they work great, have a long battery life and the sound is incredible. Im hard of hearing in my right ear so having good audio has been an amazing upgrade. Overall theyve been great.

For the price, it's really hard to beat. The setup is absurdly easy and the quality of the audio sounds premium. I love the detachable mic feature if you just want to use these as headphones and not have the mic in your face when you are not using it. Comfortable, Quality feeling as well. All in all, very satisfied and would highly recommend.

One amazing headset. I bought these mainly for playing Valorant. The DTX Headphone X feature makes these unreal. I don't know the science as to how they take a stereo signal and make it surround sound, but it works. I can hear footsteps all the way around me, even above. Some reviews say the mic isn't as good as the wired version. It sounds good to me. Unless your a pro streamer why would it matter? And in that case you'd use an external mic anyway. I asked my Valorant teammates if I sounded fine and they said yes - so good enough for me. Also, keep in mind that this is a gaming headset, NOT high-end music headphones. There is a discernible difference. These are meant to help your game and enhance your in-game experience. Also, don't expect a set of high end music headphones to work as a gaming headset. However, the sound these produce is clear and crisp with decent lows and highs. The wireless range is good and their proprietary connectivity is much better than Bluetooth could hope to be. The G-Hub software offers so many options, it would almost take an audio engineer to dial it all in. But that doesn't matter because they offer decent presets. If you like to tool around with settings though, you'll enjoy that. Comfort seems good, although they were a little tight - but that may change over time the more you wear them. They also come with foam-like ear cups that may help that. I did not try those. The leather ones did make me sweat a little after a few hours. Also, wearing these with glasses did not seem to be an issue. Build quality is top-notch. They are a little on the heavy side due to the steel band and the need for a battery to make it wireless. The mic fits in snug and it's flex is much better than others I tried. The built in controls are solid too. The volume control is smooth. It has a sliding toggle for the power button - not some push and hold thing. The mic mute button pops in and out when pressed, so it's easy to tell. It also uses USB-C to charge. I've begun to ramble. Just buy it if you're a hardcore gamer. It's worth every penny.

Great headset. Very comfortable for long gaming sessions. The software can be a little wonky but it is really important to download GHUB to get the settings where you want for this headset. I would highly recommend you download the custom settings that other users have put together and do a mic test and select the one you think sounds the best. The trick here is that when you are in GHUB you have to make sure you a selecting the correct headset to download for or else it will not show up in your list. I have had really good feedback coming from the Razer Nari headset into the Logitech and after I altered the sound setting, I was very happy with the quality of the sound production as well as the microphone. The only downside is it may be a little pricey for being an older model (I hear the 2 is not as good) but if you can get it on sale then it is worth it.

I have the wired version of the headset, and I like that its sturdy. The wireless version of the product seems to have more features when it comes to sound and equalizer than the wired version. The battery last about two days of use, and having the mute button on the headset is nice and quick to use in a pinch. The software updates quick and seem less, which is way better than razer software when it comes to update. Razer tends to uninstall everything and reinstall which is a hassle. Overall I am happy I changed to the wireless version from the wired one.

I have been searching for a good headset for a while and this one did not disappoint. The sound and the EQ controller to adjust sound to your liking and needs is very good and easy to understand. I’ve had the headset for about 3 weeks now and I’m not disappointed. The battery life is amazing, I can play multiple sessions and have battery for a while before having to recharge. The only downside to this headset is that at least for me, it isn’t the most comfortable on the top of your head. My head starts to hurt after an hour. Better cushion would definitely make this headset a 5/5.

I put this simply. IF you're a bassy kinda guy. This ain't it. with the presets or not, this really ain't it. It feels so premium, like a new car compared to the headphones I have now. It's a bit stiff at first. It's really nice, but the sound and how my music sounds. Sucks that its a deal breaker for me. My current headset (Razer BlackShark V2 Wired (($80)) blows these out of the water with the sound Quality. I don't even use the "vIrTuAl SuRrOuNd SoUnD", and it just sounds good. But I got it for $150 on sale after taxes; you're just paying for the build quality, brand, and wireless. PS!!!!! After downloading the GHUB, your volume scroll will NOT work, Unless you like restarting your PC every time it stops working. Sorry for crappy English typing. It's a great Headset for Non-Bass people.

For a flagship headset I expected more coming from this product. I've been using Razer Blackshark V2 Pro for almost 2 years and it's just recently started giving me issues from randomly disconnecting to random static noises or glitchy sounds. All my drivers were updated to try and fix it but I guess it's just a sign of its lifetime with me coming to an end. I was suggested these headphones, Logitech G Pro X, by a friend saying it was the best headset they've own. I have all my other peripherals from Logitech and I've been loving them so I thought maybe completing it with a headset from Logitech would be so much more convenient having all my settings in one app or Hub. Just trying them on feels like you're holding a flagship item, which it should because it is. However, that's pretty much where all the nice things I could say for this headset. These were supposedly a great headset but I beg to differ. After picking this up and plugging it in, the audio quality to me felt flat and super quiet. The bass is pretty much non existent but the mids and highs were okay. The surround sound just made everything felt far away and when playing games or listening to music, it was just a terrible experience to me. I tried to mess with the EQ settings quite a bit to try and get it to my liking but it just wasn't enough for me. Now onto the mic, I didn't quite do a in depth test of the mic but from the simple test I've made, it sounds subpar even with Blue Voice on. I don't use the mics on headset as I have an external mic but for those times I do use my headset on consoles, I would think twice before I speak using this headset mic. The build quality was great though, it was nice and hefty and feels pretty premium. But this is just my preference. You can pick these up and try them on yourself and see if you'd like the sound profiles yourself. If not, do what I will be doing in an hour and returning these and finding a better one that fits my taste and expectations.

The audio is very good, it sounds amazing and it feels comfortable. the headset lasts a very long time, I haven't had it turn off on me once. But the mic is horrendous . it sounds like I'm talking on a radio. I have the sensitivity as high as it can go and I have to almost yell for it to pick me up. and even then, its very quiet, my friends can hardly hear me, and in a middle of a gunfight in a game? forget about it ,they won't hear me. I downloaded the software to use with it to try to change the settings, but hardly did anything to help. There are much better headsets with the same sound quality, much better mic, and for the same, or even cheaper price. skip this one, get something better. Don't waste your money on this, I can't believe I wasted 200$ on a headset with this horrendous of a mic, it's like I'm on a xbox360. but it's too late for me to return it now, unfortunately.

Abysmal Mic - Great Everything Else

    Posted .

Having used wired Audio Technicas for the past 5-6 years I was really excited to move into wireless life. After reading/watching many reviews I settled on these Pro X Wireless. I'll break this down into three sections. Build Quality: Outstanding is probably the best word here. Feels incredibly solid, the weight is just right, and I can't speak to longevity but they feel like they would stand the test of time. They're also gorgeous. Not much left to be desired here. Audio Quality: Another high mark here. While going from open back to closed back was a little eerie in not being able to hear my surroundings, the sound quality at least positionally was pretty solid. Mic Quality: This is where these headphones lose all their stars. Apparently, through most of 2020 the mic was great. All the reviewers/videos seem to say that. Well either a firmware update or something happened and this microphone sounds like actual garbage. No amount of tweaking, Logitech G Hub versions, driver installs/uninstalls would fix it. I understand wireless microphones may not be the utmost in quality, but I promise you this is by far the worst headset mic I have used. I could never recommend this headset unless you plan on never using the microphone, even if all other aspects of the headphones are great. Hopefully Logitech fixes the problem as I have to assume it's in the software, since no modern mic could sound quite that terrible.

There may be a 2nd generation of these out, but those only improve on the battery life. The audio specs are the same, so save some money and get these on sale. The leather ear cups can be a little warm on the ears, but the included cloth ear cups fix that. The sound quality is incredible, and the microphone is much better than some reviewers would have you believe. There is a ton of room for customization with the Logitech software on Windows (no Linux support). These have a great modern look to them. I would like to see an all black version.
