The first thing you notice when unboxing this headset is how premium they feel. They are steel and aluminum construction, with a memory foam headband and both leather padded and foam earcups. They come with the leather pads installed and they are very nice. They do get warm over long sessions, and do a nice job of sealing off outside noise. I switched my pads to the foam versions, and love them. Even wearing them for long sessions, I had no ear fatigue, they did not get overly warm, and they did a wonderful job of sealing off outside ambient noise. The lightspeed technology offers no discernable latency in the audio that I could perceive. The construction offers a rigid, firm but comfortable feel when wearing. The earcups are very solid and dense, and delivers outstanding audio fidelity. I downloaded the Logitech G Hub software to further customize the settings and found it very easy to do so. They can operate in standard stereo mode, but where these really shine is with the DTS 7.1 surround sound setting. Being able to fine tune the special audio, the EQ really lets you customize your own sound. And for hardcore gamers out there, you can also set up the headset using presets of popular gamers, like TSM Myth. In games like Fortnite, Valorant and COD Warfare, the DTS surround sound really immerses you into the game. You hear sounds and nuances that you have never heard before. The spacial audio sensation is amazing. I will say that once you dial in the right sound stage for your ears, the headset is amazing. I did notice that the customization settings were sort of finicky, in that if you overstepped a setting or two, the sound can very quickly get away from you and sound less than enjoyable, forcing me to reset and try again. But once you find that sweet spot, they shine. They handle lows and highs very well, and I would say they are definitely not bass heavy, more flat to punchy low end. Another area where this set really shines, is the microphone audio. It uses Blue Voice technology to dial in the perfect configuration of voice settings that allows you to apply noise reduction, compression, etc. The mic quality might be the best I’ve ever used, might even be better than my Astro A40 Pros. There is no option to dial in talkback levels, or mix game vs chat levels, so if that’s super important to you it might an issue. Overall I’m very happy with these, using these side by side with a few others PRO gaming headsets that I have really highlight where these offer a little bit more, mainly the wireless LightSpeed technology and the DTS 7.1 Surround. For competitive gaming you don't want the boom to muddy up the sound when you're trying to hear your enemy. You have to hear every shot, step, or noise clearly. This is where the Logitech Pro X shines. Everything is crystal clear without any perceivable lag. I've got a wide head, wear glasses, and have a higher than average surface temperature (I don't even have a winter coat, I just use my windbreaker). So I'm picky as heck when it comes to comfort. Sadly to say these headphones weren't the best fit. If I gave the review another week to let the headband stretch on a set of bookshelf speakers then I'd be a bit more comfortable, but out of the box they're just too tight for me. Another thing, not a ding against the Logitech Pro X, is the closed back. While good for isolating sound, they get me hot and the Logitech is no different in that regard. After 30 min I had to pull them away to let my ears breath. Unless you're "hot blooded" like me it's another non-issue. The mic worked well enough to speak when needed, but I didn't stop anyone and ask how pretty I sounded. I really don't see any benefit from the sound effects so I keep my own voice. Now music is the Logitech Pro X's Achilles's Heal. It cannot hold deep bass. I tried a few A Tribe Called Quest songs and Vibes and Stuff just showed how badly the bass performance is. The low rumble just muddied up everything. Just...man, thinking about how bad it was just gives me flashbacks. Do yourself a favor and don't even try any bass heavy music. No amount of tuning, other than killing the bass, made it sound any better. But the loss of the low end just ruined the song. So, gaming - thumbs up. Music - for real, don't do it!

Defective audio mic doesn’t work everyone's telling me it sounds horrible

left ear buzzing noise. common issue with these headphones. dont even bother with them.

Returned after two days. Constantly lost connection with the signal in the middle of game play.

Full disclosure not an audiophile. I think the sound quality is top notch on these from Logitech. Packaging fairly basic you have a usb wireless dongle for communication so small and tidy (actually running of a monitor usb port). You will also get a nice USB-A to USB-C charging cable plenty long for my liking. You also get two sets of ear cushions, the default ones are a nice noise cancellation leather which make my ears sweat but I like the extra noise cancellations. The other set is a nice pleather set that will let more noise in but also let your ear's breathe. Swapping them out is simple as pulling them out and swap. The headset controls are simple everything is located on the left ear cup. Power toggle switch, volume dial, push mute button and the USB-C Charging port. Mic is detachable and comes detached at first. I find the headset to be very loud and so much I can't run it max volume without making my ears shudder. Where the headset really shine's is in the Logitech G software. So many options to tweak your new baby from microphone adjustments to audio equalizer settings. You also get the option to customize your directional surround sound for your fps gamers you can really customize your ability to hear those footsteps. I do recommend tweaking in the software right away I found the default setup as the headset came not the best. I also own a pair of Astro's A50 Gen 4 and I find these very comparable for MSRP $100 less. Also you don't have to find space for a bulky headset dock and charging the Pro X I find much less frustrating. I personally find the sound very top notch and relaxing. Battery life is 20+ hours advertised and can confirm it holds true. The range is what you would expect from a modern day wireless headset nothing to write home about but it holds its own with similar devices. Headset quality feels very strong and not fragile, its a tad bendy but I never feel like I'm going to snap or break anything. One of the only complaints I have is no flip to mute style mic but just a preference thing for me. Overall very happy with this and look forward to years of gaming with this. If you are on the fence between the Astro's and this I think $100 less MSRP makes this the appropriate buy with the other differences I mentioned.

horrible experience - never going to purchase anything again from BB.

The headset fits comfortably and the charge lasts about 20 hours from full. Sound quality is noticeably better than my previous headset. It's very convenient to be able to move about away from my computer when I'm doing other things between gaming sessions as well. Definitely recommend.

Stop working after 3 months... was great at the beginning

I just received these as a birthday gift as I wanted to upgrade from a wired headset to a wireless one. They are very comfy and the sound quality is on point. My only gripe with them is it sounds like the left side lets in more outside sound than the right. When I talk I can hear more of my voice on the left side and it drives me crazy. Maybe it’s just me but it is something that I can’t see myself adjusting to even after a few hours of gaming. I am really sad because I absolutely love the way this headset feels on my head and the software used to customize your sound but I am going to go back and exchange them for a different pair that has even noise cancellation distribution. If this isn’t something that will bother you I 100% recommend this headset but if it is then I would try another pair out because it is just way too noticeable to look past.

I love this headset so much! The sound quality is fantastic. I normally use this headset for gaming, so the 360 surround sound is important. Sometimes, I will just listen to music or watch videos and the audio still sounds perfect. The mic is great and once you go into the Logitech pc app, you can customize the mic. Now I can munch on chips while in a call without muting, and no one can hear it! The mic literally won’t pick up anything but you. Another plus is the Bluetooth range. I will be in a discord call and walk all the way downstairs to the back door to let my dog out, the headset is still connected! The battery life is also good and they charge fast. You will get multiple notifications on your pc about the battery dying. So it won’t just randomly die on you during a game. This headset is still going strong and I do not see myself buying a new one any time soon.

Okay but definitely not worth the price. Sound randomly goes in and out, cheaply made, and it will randomly mute and unmute itself.

Decent headset with nice sound and comfortable ear pieces. My biggest gripe is thay the headset doesnt fit over my big head, even fully expanded!

Lightweight, sound quality is great, and swapped out the ear muffs to the cloth and doesn’t make my head hot, even after wearing for hours at a time!

Mic is clear, wireless is great, comfort is good. Solid choice.

These are by far the nicest set of gaming headphones I’ve owned. The are well-made, super comfortable, and have great sound quality. I feel like I can wear them for a number of hours and would have any discomfort. They have memory foam in the ear pads and are super soft. I don’t feel any pressure on my head or ears but they still are snug and feel secure. Sound quality is also on point. At least in my experience, most gaming headsets can’t match up with higher quality headphones. These actually come pretty close and really help enhance gaming. I found that people can hear me when I speak into the microphone very clearly and haven’t experienced any problems with them. Look no further for quality gaming headphones.

Good wireless headset sounds good decent batter pretty comfortable.

As soon as I opened the box I could feel the quality. I was replacing my Razer Kraken V3 Pro headset. It is around the same price, yet substantially bulkier and flimsier. My Razer also was beginning to cut out in the left ear and one side always drooped. They have all the same features but this headset is much more snug in fit; the microphone is less bulky; the headrest is thinner but somehow seems like denser, higher quality foam; it has replacement ear cushions; comes with a protective bag if you care about that. Sound quality around this price range will really be unsubstantial in difference, for a noticeable difference you'd need to pay much less or much more. It is a lot of money but I got this on sale for $100 off. If you can get it on sale it is an undeniable value. I don't write reviews as it is too much bother, but the difference was so night and day that I felt the need to convey it.

Awesome product, looks very clean, I appreciate the interchangeable ear pads, I prefer the cloth ones way better. Also appreciate the removable mic. Battery life is phenomenal, once fully charged it lasts me several gaming sessions. Sound quality is also excellent!

Great sound, super clear audio, and In the short time I’ve had them they have proven to be far more durable than the turtle beach stealth a700 that I previously had. I love the detachable microphone as well as the flexibility of the headband itself
