It is not working and not usable at this point. I plan to contact Best Buy to see about a refund or replacement of this mouse. The cord is not durable.

Posted .Hello Frig! I'm sorry to hear your grandson's G203 cord has split! Best Buy does only have a 15 day return/exchange policy, unless you purchased the Geek Squad Replacement plan. This plan would cover for 2-years and you would be able to exchange the mouse anytime within that 2-years if the product stops working due to normal wear and tear.
