The RGB lighting is perfect for me. It gives off the look and feel of a regular mouse with RGB instead of looking like a gaming mouse with buttons and buttons.

I will the color light up when on. Basic mouse with a nice additions of the back and forth button and mouse sensitivity setting.

My wife has been using one for a while now, picked up a spare for $15. If you're not going to commit to a more expensive gaming mouse, I see no reason to get anything else other than this.
