Best Wheel on the market!

He loves racing games. It feels very realistic, just like driving a real car. A great gift for kids and even adults!

Better than my original Logitech wheel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a logitech wheel about 10 years ago for my Playstation2 and used it through my Playstation3 mainly for the Gran Turismo series. It was all plastic a bit wobbly but a great deal of fun. Fast forward to this year and the wheel and Playstation were showing their age. I opted to buy a new Logitech to replace the old one for the Playstation4 and new Gran Turismo. This wheel is much improved over 10 years. I like the leather wrapped feel - closer to a real steering wheel. Also, I like the longer number of turns from left and right wheel lock. Pedals feel much sturdier. Time will tell if the mechanisms for feedback and the leather wrapping hold up as well as the original.

Man, should have done this YEARS ago. If you like racing games but don't have a wheel, stop reading reviews and buy this one. The G29 is an industry standard, they've built it for years. The motors in the wheel and pedal box are perfect for giving authentic feedback. That's just something you can't get from a controller. One thing I particularly love is the click of the paddle shifters. They have great weight and a satisfying click. You will want some type of chair or stand for this wheel, keep that in mind!

I had other lower priced wheels only last a few racing sessions. This one has been very durable. I liked it so much I puchased a wheel stand and chair. It works great on my PS5..., and on PC as well, as i use it with my VR setup (oculus2). Racing in vr with this wheel is AWESOME! Hopefully psvr for ps5 will realse a VR racing game. Its a great entry wheel if your getting into the hobby.

However this is still a quality racing wheel to start with! The bright blue and red plastic buttons are sturdy but aesthetic wise its a bit distracting from the actual product (would prefer all black but not paying for the "upgraded" version at $350).
