Pretty awesome with a few quirks
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most is very good . It has a very intresting shape and it works for me even with fingertip grip. My only knock on it has to the fact it doesnt track to well on two of my main mousepads . Mpc 450 and l.l.g mercury i think it has to do with the l.o.d on the mouse. Eventing else works perfect .

Solid gaming mouse with outstanding wireless
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Some will lament the lack of colorful lights. Personally, I commend Logitech for bucking that particular trend in favor of delivering a device that does what it should. Logitech has been the go-to brand for PC accessories for many years. Their products are reliable, comfortable, and hard working. They’ve been trying to bring their reputation for quality business use products into the gaming realm with quality engineering and no gimmicks. This “Shroud” edition mouse plots the same course. I found the mouse to be extremely responsive whether plugged into my PC directly or via the wireless dongle. This is a different technology dongle than Logitech has used in the past. It’s not compatible with the “unifying” dongle they’ve made for years nor is it even compatible with the new ‘bolt’ design they’re released for their high end business oriented products. The dongle requires the use of a USB A slot. Alternatively, the supplied cable can be used for mouse functionality while also charging. I noticed no difference is responsiveness whether using the cable or the wireless dongle. Both were exceptionally quick. In the week I’ve had it, the mouse tracked quickly and easily on my mouse pad and on the couch. It didn’t fare too well on the glass top of my desk, but neither has any other optical or laser mouse that I’ve tried. It’s light weight considering its size. It feels neither large nor small in my hand. While this can be subjective, this mouse feels “just right.” My two complaints about this are the wheel and the number of buttons. The wheel moves well, but does not freely spin like the “master” series of mice from Logitech (my top choice). The free spin move quickly scrolls up or down in menus and navigation. I found myself constantly scrolling the wheel to navigate around, which led to a little more finger fatigue than I’d prefer. This Shroud edition mouse provides only the standard buttons which mice have features for 20 years: top, left. right, forward, and back. Several of Logitech’s competitors feature additional buttons which can be programmed to execute macros. While you can program the buttons, the Shroud allows only for a single keystroke to be connected to a button. On the plus side, the programming is actually saved into the mouse. This means it will operate the same way on any machine its connected to without downloading new drivers and configuring it. It also helps the mouse maintain excellent battery life, despite the high DPI and sampling rates. Overall, the shroud edition mouse is comfortable and well connected. It builds on Logitech’s reputation for quality products and delivers where it counts.

Great Gaming Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as gaming I play mmos mostly so I am not in need of the awesome low latency sensor of this mouse as much as someone that plays first person shooters etc. needless to say it’s extremely responsive has solid out of the box settings (DPI) but you can obviously download the app and change all of that. If you are looking at a mouse that won’t let you down while gaming this is it. It doesn’t feature any RGB lights just very solid looking black. Weight of the mouse is good, feels well made too. Size, this might be an issue if you have smaller hands, for me I have medium hands and it fits perfectly on my hand but it’s not a small mouse. Overall liking what logitech has done here, I’m using this more then my glorious RGB mouse that has to be charged a lot more (due to the RGB).

Good but not for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve watched several reviews about this mouse and decided to give it a try. Im currently using G Pro Superlight and got used to it pretty quickly. Shape on G303 is so different and does need time for me to adjust with my play style. Build quality is excellent but this mouse is just not for me.

Posted .Hi squirrel11,
Logitech appreciates your honest insight. To your point, the G303 Shroud Edition shape is unique, and it may not be ideal for every gamer. This mouse was designed for Shroud since his favorite mouse was the G303 which was already outdated; it is a fascinating back story to the design. Still, I am happy to hear that you are satisfied with the PRO X Superlight design with a more standard shape that appeals to most gamers. Also, the PRO X Superlight has some remarkable features different from the G303 Shroud Edition, such as lighter weight and Powerplay compatibility.

Super Lightweight Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse wasn’t exactly what I was expecting for a gaming wireless mouse. Apparently things have changed since a few years back when I was all wireless, all the time. The past several years I’ve been attached to wired mouses for gaming and general usage, and on purpose. Always felt they were more reliable, no charge necessary, and very responsive. However, I do not like using a wired mouse for my laptop since the cable gets annoying to carry around and use. One thing I’ve always appreciated about a wireless mouse was the extra weight the battery provided. Extra weight always felt good when using a mouse, not really sure if it helped with my “movements”, but it would make it feel more quality. Wireless mice are usually heavier because of their rechargeable battery, but battery technology must have really improved over the years because this mouse feels even lighter than my desktop mouse. At first it was kind of a turn off because light-weight plastic products just feel cheap, but the more I used it the more it grew on me. I also started to realize how well and smooth it functioned The Pros After a few days of using it, the light-weight part of it didn’t bother me and I started enjoying using it. The responsiveness is very good. It has the DPI button (by default) which lets you pick your setting and changes colors which is nice to know what setting you are on without actually trying to feel for it. Battery life has been great, I’m currently at 94% after 3 days of using it on and off as displayed in the software. Also, there is a compartment in the mouse to carry the usb receiver when moving around. The Cons The mouse is pretty bare, its almost like a gaming mouse made for someone who is more or less a casual gamer with high technology built into it, that might suit some people. I’ve never been one to really take advantage or even care about the extra buttons on some mice, but feel there could be more options on this mouse. You get your 2 main finger clicks, back and forth thumb buttons, DPI button, and scrolling wheel (clickable). The scrolling wheel doesn’t tilt either which is annoying after using several mice that support it. The software does allow you to customize your buttons, but really the only one I would customize is the DPI button, the others are essential. There are no lights on the mouse except the DPI light setting that is on just for a second or two. Conclusion For a premium mouse, there could have been more bells and whistles, but since it didn’t advertise any of that, I can’t hold it against them. The mouse has been great so far, and will be a nice addition to my laptop. I have been spoiled with some extra features and buttons on other gaming mice, but this might attract non-gamers as well with its sleek professional look to it.

Nice mouse, super light, super responsive!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice mouse, functional, smooth and very responsive. I would consider myself an average size man 5'10" with average size hands. All of the vast discussion about the size of this mouse and claw-grip really surprised me. I think the size of this mouse is fine and comparable to most any others I've owned. I also don't feel the grip is all that awkward if you're usually a palm gripper. Overall, I think this mouse is appropriately sized and shape is suitable for me. I really like the incredibly lightweight design of this mouse. Allows for lightning fast movements and targeting. Which leads into the LIGHTSPEED pro-grade wireless technology which keeps up with the quickest of hands at play - definitely wish this had bluetooth connectivity though, would save a usb port on my laptop. Also appreciate the HERO 25K Sensor which comes with 4 convenient presets to get you started off quickly at the DPI you like. Logitech seems to have figured out and corrected their scroll wheel issues of past mice as this one feels sturdy and reliable - no issues as of yet. Overall very please with this mouse and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Performance Comparable To Wired Mice
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this mouse to see if I could get the same performance from a wireless gaming mouse as I get from my wired gaming mouse. On the whole it does very well as far as responsiveness and precision tracking. It seems the drag is slightly more with this mouse than my wired mouse, and I wonder if it could be due to the size of the feet which seem larger than necessary on this G303. The shape and size of this mouse turned out to be an issue for me and taught me a lesson. Make sure the size and shape of the mouse will be comfortable in your hand and suitable for the style of grip you use. The size of my mouse hand is medium-large and my preferred style is fingertip play. To me this mouse is sized and shaped more for a smaller hand and a claw or palm grip. It was not comfortable for me to use my normal fingertip grip during game play. I ended up sticking with my wired mouse for game play. Lastly, the price of this mouse is relatively high. You can get a comparably performing wired mouse for less. Overall during game play there was not any discernable difference in performance between my wired gaming mouse and this one. So for me whether you would want this mouse comes down to does it feel good in your hand and do you want to pay more to have a wireless mouse.

Great Gaming Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a basic gaming mouse that is smooth with no jerky motions. It is very comfy in the hand, ergonomic and pretty intuitive to the touch. I mean there is a learning curve to using every mouse and this is no exception. However the entire package is well done. It is pretty light and easy to move without much effort. The only negative is that there is no carrying case or pouch! The little usb compartment is cool but a case would be better in my opinion. Especially if you are going to use it as your daily gaming mouse. I would love to see different colorways and combinations. The only negative is the price because it is a special edition of sorts. Otherwise, it is a great mouse to use for gaming and off gaming as well.

A fantastic everyday mouse for gaming OR work!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My primary mouse is an MMO-style one that has the number pad on the side, as I play a lot of Final Fantasy XIV and other games. However, it is a bit heavy and clunky for FPS games and such. So, I was in the market for another mouse to use for those games so I can retire my MMO mouse to just those type of games. This mouse fits the bill, perfectly. I never got to use the original G303 mouse, but I've heard good things about it. Overall, this mouse does seem very basic, which can be a good or bad thing. Good, in the fact that it can function great as both a gaming and a work/production mouse. Bad as in...I think for the price, it should be about $30 less than retail ($99..99 instead of the retail of $129.99). Additionally, please note that given all the technology this mouse has, there is zero RGB to be found. Which also goes in the "basic" category. But, this can also be a plus for those that are not much into the whole RGB thing. While this mouse is wireless, it can also be used with the charging cable attached and charging the mouse. Overall, the grip feels great in-hand. While the overall form of the mouse has changed a tad from it's original version, it has been custom fitted for Shroud, himself. Meaning, it's designed to fit his hand perfectly, so it may not fit everyone's the same. Also, this mouse is designed for more of a "claw" grip. So, if you don't "claw" your mouse when gaming, another mouse may be a better fit for you. I do like the semi-transparent sides and there are also small indicators that reflect where Shroud rests his fingers while using the mouse. The G303 Shroud edition does boast a 145 hour run time on a single charge and from my use, that seems about on par. I'm sure not having RGB helps with this, as well. In use, I've tried quite a few FPS games and threw in a few others for good measure. These include CoD Vanguard, CoD Cold War, Warzone, the new GTFO game that just released, Hunt Showdown and Warhammer Vermintide 2. Oh and I also tried some Age of Empires IV and New World with it! In all the games I've tried, I've got ZERO complaints in the functionality or quality of this mouse. It slides GREAT across both my fabric and hard mousepads from my Logitech PowerPlay pad and my Razer fabric mat I have spread across my desktop. The grip feels great and I never had any issues with my hands slipping or sliding off. If I had any complaints about this mouse at all, which I won't dock any stars for, they would be: A) This mouse does pick up fingerprints on it's matte-type finish. So, you will need to periodically wipe them away if that type of thing bothers you. B) The internal USB wireless receiver storage feels like a bit of an afterthought. It pops out and back in fine, no issues. But it seems like a lot of wasted space. I would have much rather seen just an embedded square under the mouse that the receiver pops into with a cover that pops over it. C) No RGB. I mean, that's fine and some prefer that, but I would have loved to have seen at least the "G" logo lit up using LightSpeed technology to match my G915 TKL keyboard. Overall, 5 stars! I love this mouse and it will for sure get my primary use in FPS games and Age of Empires. And probably New World as well. But for MMO's, I'll definitely stick to my MMO-type mice.

The best small mouse I've seen.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech - G303 Shroud Edition Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with 25K HERO sensor - Black The Logitech G303 gaming mouse is small and light in your hand. The shape of the mouse is slender in your palm and at your fingertips. If you have a larger hand this will not be a comfortable fit. Smaller hands will have no issue with the mouse size. Apart from the small size it is a capable mouse with many features that can be customized. Just because it is from Logitech does not mean it uses the normal Logitech Options software. It has a completely different software package. This caused me a little grief, finding how to assign buttons and change settings. Once I got beyond that little learning curve, I enjoyed the ability to program just about anything onto a button. The buttons on this mouse are much better than other Logitech mice. My go to mouse is a M510 because of its size and fit to my hand. However, the quality of the new M510’s is really lacking. They feel cheap and the button clicks crunch as you click them. The G303 on the other hand just screams quality. Smooth action in every way. Buttons that are sensitive and responsive. Everything is adjustable but the size. The size is where it gets lost for me. My hand falls asleep while using it because it is so light and small for me that I can only use it for a few minutes at a time. I’ll be clear about the size problem for me. I have tried many times to use smaller mice, I just can’t. For some reason I thought a gaming mouse would be slightly larger in size so your hand would have a firmer grip on it. I really love everything about this mouse except the size. That one detail makes it a no go for me. If you’re accustomed to using smaller mice this is the best I’ve seen ever. Charging time depends on what you’re doing. It does seem to lose charge when not in use. In my testing I charged it fully and then didn’t get to test it for 3 days because of other things. When I got it all hooked up it needed to download an update. After the update, the battery was at 92%. Each night it lost 1% of battery. Battery life is stated as 140 hours of continuous use. By the time I was done testing it was down to 85% but still said it had 140 hours left. There is an off switch on the bottom, a feature I like, so it may not lose battery if you turn it off while not in use. My bottom line is this. If a small mouse fits your hand and you are good with the size, this is the mouse for you. Even non-gamers will enjoy the ability to customize the buttons to do tasks other than normal clicking. I programmed a side button to open a window in a new tab in Fire Fox, brilliant.

Fast gaming mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech G303 Shroud wireless mouse is incredibly light weight and minimal, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The mouse has 2 side buttons, a left and right click, a single button for DPI settings and a mouse wheel. The design and shape of the mouse makes is fit perfectly in my hand, and with it being so light – it makes it easier to move it for faster reaction times. The wheel has a nice agile click when scrolling, giving you more precise control. The butt end of the mouse has a hidden compartment that stores the USB dongle, in fact I didn’t even know it was there until I read the directions. The box comes with a usb-c to usb-b charging cable, as well as a female adapter. The mouse works surprisingly well, I haven’t noticed any lag at all. At first glance, I thought the mouse was cheaply made seeing how incredibly lightweight it was, but after using it for a minute I quickly realized that’s how Logitech intended to make it. The lighter the mouse, the less resistance you get when moving your hand, making it that much faster to get a point and at 75 grams, this mouse it light. The G303 also gives you many options to adjust the dpi to your liking for a perfectly catered experience. Overall, I like the G303. I think it’s a solid mouse and with its precise speed and lightweight – It makes for a good gaming experience. The mouse wheel feels very smooth to scroll and the subtle clicks make it very precise. I would recommend this mouse to any serious PC gamer.

Excellent balance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, I love this mouse. I will say write off, that I don’t know that it would be the perfect fit for everyone. It has a unique feel to it with some different angles that take some getting used to. I tried using it for regular tasks on the computer for a couple of days before I actually used it for gaming so that I could get used to the feel of it. I feel like that was super helpful because I was more familiar with what to expect from the mouse. This thing is definitely light weight, but I felt that it still has amazing balance. Obviously for long-term use and maneuverability lighter is better. However I sometimes feel like some mice are so light they’re going to fly right out of my hand. For me, this was the perfect balance. Grip is good, reaction and sensitivity on point.

Ultimate Mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech - G303 Shroud Edition Wireless Optical Gaming Mouse with 25K HERO sensor is a beast of technology. It outperforms any mouse I gave use for FPS games. I could immediately tell the latency perk was tuned as response was instantly occurring. The lightweight enabled speed when it mattered. It only weighing 75 grams this mouse was a glide master. Settings are balanced in a gamers favor. Loved playing Warzone,Apex and BF with this mouse! Bottom line serious about gaming at next level?
