I ultimately disabled the left buttons to address this. If you use a claw grip, this probably wouldn't be an issue. Really like the adjustable DPI for gaming.

Aesthetically pleasing, but something seems to be missing. The plastic on this model where you grip feels really cheap. Hero sensor and reaction time is on point. Overall, not my favorite mouse for daily use.

You do need to go to logitech's website to download software if you want to program and map your buttons. I don't really use it for gaming but I do a lot of copy and paste for work so assigning the buttons for these tasks help a lot. The only thing I dislike is the extension USB cord. Not sure if it makes much difference in speed.
