The one at works gets used 8 hours a day and left click doesn’t always register. No issues on the the at home mouse which i average about 2 hours a day.

Posted .Hi noname, thank you for sharing your experience with the G305. I'm sorry that you experienced lag and jerks with this mouse. It looks like you tried the options for resolution with different ports and extension cords and neither worked, I'm sorry for that. The G203 is the a similar mouse but wired if you like the size and feel of the G305 you could give it a try! Thanks for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech

I also find the button on the side very annoying it is very sensitive and in the middle of doing something if you get any where near this button it goes back a page. and after 14 days you can't return
