This thing is usually on sale. I got it for 30$, plus if you recycle your old logitech mouse u get 20% off, which is an insane value considering that this mice is great for people who don’t care about “weight” or whatever weirdos worry about. This thing can game, and is quite comfortable. The one AA battery is not a big deal considering if you invest in rechargeable batteries, you are set. THE ONLY COMPLAINT is that the USB Dongle is oddly delicate. I mainly use a laptop and I frequently took in and out the dongle, and one day the dongle just gave out. Big bummer, so I recycled that one and put the new one in a usb-c to usb-a adapter so the adapter can take the wear and tear. Insane value regardless.

One of the best full-sized mice I've owned. Falling under the large palm demographics, even some full sized mice will tire my hand because of the curvature my hand needs to keep while resting on the mouse. My default model is the M510, so compared to that this is slightly smaller (length) by less than a quarter of an inch and slightly lighter, probably because it only uses 1 AA battery in comparison to the two the M510 uses. The movement capture is very smooth for the most part. I have, however, had some difficulties adjusting the wheel for a smooth scroll. The buttons are a little more sensitive in comparison to the M510. Also, trying to get the usb receiver was very frustrating. The space around it is not made for larger fingers and the receiver itself is very smooth, lacking any dimples or curvatures that would help getting a grip on it. Overall these are minor issues, and I would still recommend this item.

I’ve been using the Logitech G305 for a while now, and it’s been rock solid. It’s super responsive, lightweight, and perfect for both gaming and everyday use. What really impressed me was the battery life—my first AA battery lasted about 7 months with regular use. I do wish it had a built-in rechargeable option, but honestly, swapping a battery twice a year isn’t a big deal. For the price, it’s hard to beat the performance and reliability this mouse offers.

I’ve been using this mouse for several months now. I don’t play “pro” games, so having this level of precision wireless isn’t quite necessary but for the price I couldn’t pass it up. Pros: -great tracking even on “not ideal” surfaces -very ergonomic, I’ve not gotten any fatigue using this even during longer gaming sessions -dpi settings and Logitech software makes customizing simple and easily to switch between the settings -light weight so travels smoothly across any surface -long lasting battery life is a plus Cons: -sometimes it can be a bit hard to reach the back side button for me. If they were a bit more forward or smaller that may help reach it. -The left and right mouse buttons do not have a long travel distance so it’s easy to mis-click if your not careful -has a very audible click when using, could become annoying in quiet environments. The cons, for me, do not outweigh how responsive and comfortable this mouse is, and since I can not give 4.8 stars, I’m rounding up to 5.

Have used a Logitech G305 mouse since 2022, worked perfectly with daily use until I spilled coffee on it. Got a new one, works great. I wouldn't buy unless on sale, but really either way it's good for the price. And it goes on sale often, so try to buy when it's cheaper. There's also not really any reason for a mouse with capabilities beyond this one - this one is reasonably priced and has everything you could possibly need in a gaming mouse. Anything more (price and feature-wise) is just overkill. It's good for any gaming you're going to do and for general work.

A very affordable mouse that has the things I'm looking for. Back/forward button? DPI control? Check! Only thing I'd like is a button for free scroll vs. precise scroll. I'm also seeing mouses with copy/paste buttons which is wild. But for the price, I don't need those. Great purchase.

This mouse is awesome. Nice dps range. Feels nice in the hand. I thought it would feel small, but it's good for me. Only uses one battery. I would have to say this is the best budget mouse out there

Was very iffy of this product, but is one of the best mouse I have owned very light. It’s not big and it’s not small. It’s perfect. Fit all the different settings. Make this mouse unique definitely recommend for all my gaming peeps.

Been using this for a few years now. It's unbeatable for the price. The only thing I have noticed is that sometimes, there is a a second of lag where the mouse doesn't respond though I think this is either a bluetooth driver issue or battery issue. Speaking of batteries, for one AA battery, this mouse lasts forever. Super light and accurate too.

At the price (especially if you catch it on sale like I did) you’ll be hard pressed to find a better mouse. I know it’s primarily used for gaming but I just needed a good mouse for my laptop. I use it for recording music. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a need for a mouse much less a computer lol. So I don’t have a lot to compare it to. But I gotta say I have never used a mouse that felt so smooth in the 40 years I’ve been alive. I game on consoles but I will say if your getting this mouse for gaming I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed. The left and right clickers are hands down the fastest I’ve used. And even those I’m just using it for music production the accuracy of the pointer is even noticeable. I have no doubt you could pro level game with this thing. So in short, whether you’re gaming or just using it for every day use on a computer you won’t be disappointed. Even if you spent an extra 50 bucks on a mouse, I bet the improvement would be minimal compared to this. So if you’re buying an every day, use Mouse, I say spend a little bit more and get this. You’ll thank me later and if you’re buying a mouse for gaming, I say give it a shot. You’ll be pleasantly surprise and save some money while you’re at it.

comfortable, easy-to-use, right-handed mouse. Light enough for me and my big hands. Surprisingly large enough to use palm grip. I wish the customizable buttons on the left side of the mouse were closer to where the thumb rests.

I like the lightweight feel for the mouse, battery life is amazing, and never had connection issues with it

The mouse is perfect it’s comfortable and light to use I’m not saying it is made in a cheap quality but what i’m trying to say is the quality is perfect durable not breakable and the mouse is very light to use easy to aim as well for gaming

** The Good ** The G305 isn’t what I would picture when I hear the words, “gaming mouse”. It doesn’t have nearly as many buttons as its G600 MMO gaming mouse sibling (which has 20 buttons) and lacks RGB lighting. I still list those under “The Good”, because I like having a “simple”, comfortable gaming mouse. I don’t want another numeric keypad on my mouse. I also don’t want a light show that will be covered by my hand when in use. The mouse uses a AA battery rather than a built in rechargeable battery. This could be a positive or negative aspect of the G305, it’s 100% personal preference. Logitech claims that a new AA battery will give you up to 250 hours of use. Obviously I haven’t been able to test this claim yet, but I’m sure it will come very close. Setting up the G305 was super easy. Just plug the USB receiver into your PC and you’re done. The small button on the mouse below the scroll wheel is the cursor speed toggle (no software required). The two buttons on the side are automatically set for back+forward when using a web browser. You can download Logitech’s “Gaming Software” from their website if you want to program the buttons or adjust the sensitivity (see screenshot). ** The Bad ** The G305 doesn’t have the heft that I would expect for a premium mouse. I’m sure the mouse is built quite well, but my Logitech MX Anywhere 2 (a portable laptop mouse) feels more solid than the G305. Another thing that’s a little disappointing is the size: it’s not as large or wide as some of my previous gaming mice. To compare it to the MX Anywhere 2 (again): the G305 and MX Anywhere 2 are similar widths and heights, while the G305 is just a little bit longer. This is 100% personal preference, so you may prefer the smaller size. It’s not uncomfortably small, but I would have preferred a larger size. ** Bottom Line ** If you want a reliable and simple gaming mouse, the G305 is a solid choice. You don’t need to download any software to get up and running; just plug in the receiver, use the cursor speed toggle button under the scroll wheel to find your preferred setting, and you’re done. It’s not a large gaming mouse, but it’s not small enough to be uncomfortable for prolonged use.

This is an excellent mouse for the price. The response time is excellent for games and I love that you can tweak the dpi settings through G hub. Not sure what the issue is that people have with it. Hear a lot of negativity over the software. I've had no issues with it yet between this and the g613 keyboard I have as well. Also not sure what the total hours may be that they've rated on the battery life but I've been using it for almost a month without even shutting the mouse off and it still shows a full bar on the battery. Highly recommend!
