---SETUP--- The setup of the G305 mouse is quick and simple. After installing the wireless receiver, it works. If you download the software from the provided documentation, you can customize it to your needs. ---FEATURES--- The key feature of this gaming mouse is that it has an impressive 250 hours of use on one AA battery. It also boasts lightspeed, which is high performance wireless technology claiming to be faster than most wired mice. The mouse is also portable in the sense that the receiver can be stored within the mouse itself. Adding to its portability, you can store several profiles for your settings on the memory of the mouse. ---PERFORMANCE--- The performance of this gaming mouse was superb. I didn’t notice any lag compared to my wired mouse. Though you only have 6 buttons compared to other gaming mice, the options you have to customize it’s six buttons are very helpful, especially if you play multiple genres of games. Rarely do you end up needing more than the six buttons you have to work with. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product meets my expectations. It kept me competitives in FPS games like Overwatch and Hunt: Showdown as well as third person shooters like Fortnite and PUBG. If you are going to buy this mouse, keep in mind that it is strictly a wireless mouse, as there is no option for it to be wired. However, the long lasting use on one battery should keep you gaming for a couple of weeks. ---VALUE--- The price for the mouse in terms of value is competitive compared to other mice in the similar market. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this product for gamers who want to cut the cord. The smaller size of this mouse makes it easier to reach the buttons in a comfortable manner and having the ability to create multiple profiles on it is perfect for gamers who may have to share a PC or travel to various gaming competitions.

Out of the box, the mouse felt fine. When it came to setting it up, I ran into the first hurdle. Getting the USB dongle out of the mouse was impossible without a tool. I don't have fat fingers, abnormally long or short fingernails or anything, the recessed location within the mouse is simply a poor design. I ended up using a paperclip to GENTLY pry the dongle out from its cave. On the first use of the mouse, everything worked fine with the laptop and the G-Hub software worked like it does for my other Logitech devices. Upon completion of the work, I went to remove the dongle from the laptop and the thing broke in half. Literally, plastic cap and part of the circuit board broke off from the metal base and the rest of the circuit board. Mouse is now inoperable after one use. Inexcusable design flaw. Tried to use the mouse with an older Logitech dongle as well with no luck. I'll just stick to my trusty G502 instead of this piece of junk.

I bought this mouse on sale and used a $10 Best Buy rewards certificate so all in all it was around 30 dollars. This is an insanely nice mouse for that money. Even at $50 its still a steal. Nice matte finish, feels very premium and slightly weighty but not too heavy. I got it because I wanted the programmable buttons on the side for gaming, wanted lightspeed wireless and something from Logitech since I have really liked any products Ive bought from them for the most part. you can count on quality. I also really didn't know how much I would appreciate the on the fly DPI button that can be customized in the G hub software. The replaceable batteries also last forever. Ive had it for close to 2 months and use it daily as well as gaming and the batteries are still showing like 90%. I have nothing bad to say about this mouse even if I paid a hundred bucks for it.

This mouse is pretty good! It really is fast and the DPI goes way higher than my wired logitech mouse. There isnt any delay in response... and trust me I tried to see any and couldn't. PROS: Lightweight Fast/Responsive Easy to set up High DPI Wireless Clean look Durable (appears & feels) CONS: USB Storage (its pretty hard to get the usb Out of the mouse's storage) No RGB (oh well) So there is this one issue with the mouse... when the mouse is not in use for a long period or when you start up your laptop/desktop it does not go to your DPI setting. So I have my DPI set at 8000... when I start my PC it is not on 8000, its on 2000 or something lower. This also when my PC is on but im not using the mouse after a while like 1hr +... it might be a settings to save on battery, so I have to check. Other than that this mouse is awesome! Love logitech!

I bought this mouse almost 2- 2 1/2 years ago and its still working great! I used to play on my pc daily and play first person shooters regularly and let me tell you this mouse is it! Its fast response time and small frame fit my hand perfectly. For the price you cant beat it either! And it last 2-3+ months on a single battery! You wont get that on any other gaming mouse! I notice no lag when using it and can compete with other people using more high end mouses so its a win! I highly recommend if your on a budget or just want to save money and have as a primary use or back up!

I have had this mouse for one month 30 and it worked really well until it started to disconnect. I replaced the battery thinking it would solve my problem, but the mouse still disconnects frequently. I would not recommend this mouse because of its disconnection problems, but will update my review if I find a solution or if I get a replacement. If it had continued to work I would have given it a 5/5.

I was looking for a simple mouse that could replace my 10 year old Logitech travel mouse that's still going strong to this day. I recently bought a new laptop that's used for gaming as well as office work, so I felt I'd wear the little travel mouse out if I played a few too many click-happy games on it. My criteria for a replacement was light weight, reasonable size. excellent response times and signal reliability. The G305 meets those requirements and exceeds them. - Light weight, basically as light as a travel mouse, but still feels soild - Medium size - Not too big, not too small. Actually makes a good desktop replacement mouse. - Nearly indiscernible response times compared to a wired mouse - Great battery life - I've been using one AA battery for more than a month quite heavily (2-4 hours a day) and it's still going strong - Excellent accuracy - I haven't found surface it can't work on. Overall, and excellent mouse for replacing a wired desktop mouse, and makes a perfect travel mouse for power users and gamers.

The Logitech G305 is a lightweight wireless gaming mouse. It is highly maneuverable, and glides along the mouse pad with the greatest of ease. The switches are precise and well placed, The dpi switch selects one of the five resolution presets, and indicates dpi by color change. This mouse is a bit smaller than most, and should be comfortable for people with smaller hands. My mouse worked perfectly, right out of the box, without any setup hassles, and is powered by one AA cell. There are no instructions at all from Logitech. (Does any one else read them)? The palm plate on top will slide back to access the battery. The wireless dongle comes 'hidden' next to the battery holder inside the top cavity. In the box you will also find a dongle extension USB cable, and the AA battery. The price is less than half of many other similar featured mice, and Logitech is a reliable brand that has been around since the beginning of time. If you are looking for a simple, functional, gaming mouse that does not have throbbing disco lights and 10,000 extra switches, then check out the Logitech G305. Thanks all for your kind attention.

This mouse has been amazing so far! Super quick response time and no issues at all with the wireless connection. It’s really lightweight, comfortable to use for long sessions, and the battery life is honestly impressive. I’ve been using it for both gaming and everyday stuff, and it handles everything really well. Great quality for the price. Would definitely buy it again!

This is my favorite mouse and I have used a variety of Razer, Hyperx, and Logitech mouse. I can't get myself to spend $100 or more on a mouse, but have probably spent 80 dollars max. This is such a great mouse, despite the low cost. The size is perfect, and it is very responsive. The battery life is amazing and only needs one AA. I wish it had a rechargeable battery but that would cost a bit more. I have not had any issues with this mouse and even bought a second one in white for use with my second PC. The Logitech Ghub Software is great for setting up the speed of the mouse. The quality looks and feels well made. No RGB unfortunately.

The G305 gaming mouse by Logitech is a no-frills entry level gaming mouse for people who want to use the latest sensor technology but don’t want to pay as much as the premium gaming mice. The mouse is wireless only and uses a replaceable AA for power – which is handy as it is easy to get it going again when the battery dies. Logitech advertises a very long battery life for this mouse using their newest sensor technology and there is a low battery indicator that tells you to swap out the battery when it does get low. One note – you must download and install the Logitech Gaming software to use all of the features of this mouse. As far as performance, this mouse performs well. The up to 12,000 dpi sensor technology in the G series optical mice is impressive, and honestly I would recommend anyone who spends a decent amount of time in spreadsheets or especially diagramming using a mouse purchase a gaming mouse for those uses as well – the high quality sensors make those jobs much easier. One limitation on this mouse is the number of buttons. With only two side buttons and no horizontal scroll, you are limited to 6 buttons. One nice feature though for Logitech G mice is the ability to map one button to “G-Shift”, which allows the other buttons to perform a second function when the shift button is also held down. I personally map the mouse wheel button to this function, and then map the other buttons on the mouse to other things I use regularly. For ergonomics, this mouse is pretty compact and can be used in either hand, although the side buttons are kind of awkward for lefties. It’s actually a great travel gaming mouse – not too bulky or heavy, and completely self-contained with a slot under the back for the receiver to go. I would recommend this mouse for a PC user who wants to step up the sensitivity of their mouse, for a gamer on a budget, or for a gamer who wants a compact option to pack with a laptop for travel. The lack of buttons is a limitation on this mouse, but the sensor and the simple battery replacement are both nice features.

I purchaed this mouse when I was going to be traveling specifically for its compact size, wireless capabilities, and lack of other features most gaming mice come with such as bulging side buttons, a charging dock, several LEDs, etc. (I do use those kind of mice on my permanent setup though). Because of what I mentioned above, it is very easy to take along with you in a laptop bag during any kind of trip. I let somebody borrow it for 1 day and by the end of the day, they had ordered their own to replace their broken mouse. The only thing I would change is that I would have liked for there to be a few more additional buttons. Like other gaming mice, you could have had 2 more addition buttons along-side the left click, that don't stick out far and ruin its sleek form factor. With that being said, there are other mice I could have went with instead but this one caught my eye, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Also, I have not had to change the battery since I got it, almost 5 months ago. (Being used daily for 2 months of travel and then 2-3 times weekly for the remaining months.)

Great for gaming. I like a mouse that’s not too light, and this one is perfect. You can change the GPI and the wireless aspect is so helpful. It also comes with a chord if you prefer that. I love the quality and you can just tell that this mouse will last. 10/10.
