This is a good budget wireless mouse, gaming feels good, great accuracy, great customization of settings in the Logitech software, but there are somethings that you will need to keep in mind if you are deciding to purchase. There is an issue with double clicking as the mouse gets older. Within 2 years, I have gone through two G305's. The first one last about a year and a half, while the second only lasted roughly three months. That's because eventually both mice would begin to register one click as two, and as the problem began it would get gradually worse and worse to the point the mouse was no longer useable. One other issue I personally found is battery life, it isn't as great as advertised. 250 is what is advertised, which if you're sitting for long play sessions like I do (4+ hours of playtime per session), that's roughly 60~ days (maybe 30 if you're taking general everyday use into account). However, I was finding myself replacing the battery usually once per week, which got very expensive buying new AA batteries very fast. I'd chalk it up to the first mouse being a lemon, but both G305's I've owned have had both these issues, so I highly doubt it to be a lemon for both. I'd chalk up the double clicking issue to the mouse living it's intended lifespan, if it weren't for the second mouse only lasting 3 months before the same issue popped up, and extensive internet research telling me that double clicking is a common issue with this particular mouse model. If you're just getting started with PC gaming, or just need a cheap holdover until you can afford a higher quality mouse, then the G305 is a good choice, as when it works it works really well. Otherwise, you should consider saving up $20-$30 more and buyer a higher end mouse. My recommendation is both yes and no, but Best Buy only let's me select one or the other.

No bluetooth support Conclusion- Best cheap wireless gaming mouse. The only real competitor is the razer orochi. THe orochi does have bluetooth but the sensor is not as good as the Hero sensor on G305.

It's a really nice and comfortable mouse. The clicks are nice and crisp, it fits my grip really nice, and overall is one of the best mice at its price when its on sale. Also there is very very useful software available on Logitech's website.

This mouse is very speedy, quick to respond, and tracks accurately. It tracks way better than my previous wireless mouse. It's a little bit to light weight for me. I perfer a little heavier mouse. It also keeps forgetting what setting I had it on, so I keep having to click to the setting I like. And it seems like maybe it clicks a bit to fast when I click the left click button, because multiple different websites don't register the left click unless I click multiple times. Ebay being one of the key ones... when I click to post a bid and it just sits there until I click again or even a 3rd time and make sure I mash the crap out of the button to place my bid. I'm afraid I'll miss a winning bid one day because of this glitch, and that would be unfortunate. On other websites it seems to work just fine.

At first I was hesitant about the connection between my MacBook and the mouse…no problem at all, it is fast and smooth. Only thing to keep in mind is that the mouse clicks are super fast & sensitive, but my hand got used to it. Overall I love it!!

Decent mouse but the buttons are already feeling a bit loose. I had to disable the side buttons because they are poorly positioned and You constantly hit them accidentally. Its also a bit narrow for my taste, or should be a bit taller for good support. For the cost I can't say I'm particulary happy with it.
