It continuously doesn't work in new ways. I have had the mouse for less than a year, used it for a total of probably 2 months, and every other month of use a new issues arise. I used it for gaming and it was awful so I switched it to my work mouse and it stopped working again. Save your money on this garbage. I've bought tons of Logitech mice over the years but this one has really disappointed me.

Posted .Hi Charlie, Very sorry to hear about the dongle malfunctioning on the G305 LIGHTSPEED Gaming Mouse. It sounds like you may need a firmware update which you can find do via the G Hub Software. If you don't have it, here's a link to the download https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024690754--Downloads-G305-LIGHTSPEED-Wireless-Gaming-Mouse. If that doesn't solve it, then the problem could be a hardware issue which could be covered by the 2 year limited hardware warranty. So Disappointed!

I've been skeptical all this time because I felt like it wouldn't be as responsive as a wired variant. Turns out I was completely right as the mouse pointer constantly skips and lags even during regular Windows tasks, much less gaming. I even gave it a couple weeks to make sure it wasn't a fluke and have also tried several different batteries too. I learned my lesson and am going back to a wired mouse!

Posted .Hi Piratepress, I'm sorry to hear that the G305 wireless mouse didn't perform the way you expected. This mouse uses an Optical sensor so it works best on a mousepad. Surfaces other than a mousepad can cause there to be a disconnect in tracking. If you haven't done so already I would try using a mousepad such as the Logi G 240 mouse pad. This will improve the overall response from the mouse and increase its performance. Kristi from Logitech
