The one at works gets used 8 hours a day and left click doesn’t always register. No issues on the the at home mouse which i average about 2 hours a day.

It looks like you tried the options for resolution with different ports and extension cords and neither worked, I'm sorry for that. The G203 is the a similar mouse but wired if you like the size and feel of the G305 you could give it a try! Thanks for being a Logitech customer. Kristi from Logitech
