This mouse has been amazing so far! Super quick response time and no issues at all with the wireless connection. It’s really lightweight, comfortable to use for long sessions, and the battery life is honestly impressive. The G305 gaming mouse by Logitech is a no-frills entry level gaming mouse for people who want to use the latest sensor technology but don’t want to pay as much as the premium gaming mice. The mouse is wireless only and uses a replaceable AA for power – which is handy as it is easy to get it going again when the battery dies. Logitech advertises a very long battery life for this mouse using their newest sensor technology and there is a low battery indicator that tells you to swap out the battery when it does get low. One note – you must download and install the Logitech Gaming software to use all of the features of this mouse. As far as performance, this mouse performs well. The up to 12,000 dpi sensor technology in the G series optical mice is impressive, and honestly I would recommend anyone who spends a decent amount of time in spreadsheets or especially diagramming using a mouse purchase a gaming mouse for those uses as well – the high quality sensors make those jobs much easier. One limitation on this mouse is the number of buttons. With only two side buttons and no horizontal scroll, you are limited to 6 buttons. One nice feature though for Logitech G mice is the ability to map one button to “G-Shift”, which allows the other buttons to perform a second function when the shift button is also held down. I personally map the mouse wheel button to this function, and then map the other buttons on the mouse to other things I use regularly. For ergonomics, this mouse is pretty compact and can be used in either hand, although the side buttons are kind of awkward for lefties. It’s actually a great travel gaming mouse – not too bulky or heavy, and completely self-contained with a slot under the back for the receiver to go. I would recommend this mouse for a PC user who wants to step up the sensitivity of their mouse, for a gamer on a budget, or for a gamer who wants a compact option to pack with a laptop for travel. The lack of buttons is a limitation on this mouse, but the sensor and the simple battery replacement are both nice features.

I purchaed this mouse when I was going to be traveling specifically for its compact size, wireless capabilities, and lack of other features most gaming mice come with such as bulging side buttons, a charging dock, several LEDs, etc. (I do use those kind of mice on my permanent setup though). Because of what I mentioned above, it is very easy to take along with you in a laptop bag during any kind of trip. I let somebody borrow it for 1 day and by the end of the day, they had ordered their own to replace their broken mouse. The only thing I would change is that I would have liked for there to be a few more additional buttons. Like other gaming mice, you could have had 2 more addition buttons along-side the left click, that don't stick out far and ruin its sleek form factor. With that being said, there are other mice I could have went with instead but this one caught my eye, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase. Also, I have not had to change the battery since I got it, almost 5 months ago. (Being used daily for 2 months of travel and then 2-3 times weekly for the remaining months.)

Great for gaming. I like a mouse that’s not too light, and this one is perfect. You can change the GPI and the wireless aspect is so helpful. It also comes with a chord if you prefer that. I love the quality and you can just tell that this mouse will last. 10/10.

This is my favorite mouse and I have used a variety of Razer, Hyperx, and Logitech mouse. I can't get myself to spend $100 or more on a mouse, but have probably spent 80 dollars max. This is such a great mouse, despite the low cost. The size is perfect, and it is very responsive. The battery life is amazing and only needs one AA. I wish it had a rechargeable battery but that would cost a bit more. I have not had any issues with this mouse and even bought a second one in white for use with my second PC. The Logitech Ghub Software is great for setting up the speed of the mouse. The quality looks and feels well made. No RGB unfortunately.

Best mouse I've ever used, it's fast, light, comfortable and responsive all with great battery life, good build quality and at a great price for the product. Also, G Hub, the optional software for the mouse, is simple, easy to use and lightweight.

Like many have said, this is a great no frills, lightweight, wireless gaming mouse. I purchased my second one at best buy. If you are a gamer it's almost mandatory to use a AAA lithium battery with a AA adapter to cut down on the weight even more. The clicks are very satisfying but the stock mouse feet are horrible. I wish Logitech would do something about that. Other brands like Razer are including better quality mouse feet out of the box. I replaced the stock G305 feet with some PTFE feet for smoother glide. I'm glad my local best buy still sells this mouse at a reasonable price. Once you go wireless for gaming mice you will never go back

Love this mouse! I got one for myself and my husband as well. After I got mine, my husband noticed that even though its wireless it never gave me problems and I've had it for a couple of years now. So we got my husband one after he got his new laptop and he's never complained of the mouse failing or disconnecting. I do recommend downloading the Logitech drivers though for best performance.

It's a cheap mouse, but for the price I've had no issues at all. It's been over a month and I haven't had to replace the battery, there has been 0 delay from the mouse itself, and even living with cats it somehow repels the hair from them!

I did my research and chose to go with the G305 after using the Corsair Glaive and Corsair Ironclaw in the past. The mouse is lightweight and fits my hand nicely for a "Palm & claw" hybrid grip that I tend to use while playing games. The response time is spot on and I haven't had any latency issues. This mouse also is powered by a single AA battery. Take that for what you will, I don't mind using swap-able rechargeable batteries.

I have tried severally "high-end" gaming mice but non of them have the same price to performance as this one. Fits my hand great and the battery life is awesome.

Perfect size for my hand and it’s pretty comfortable when using for gaming. There are also four selectable pointer speeds which was nice if you want your pointer to be super fast or super slow. Overall, incredible mouse considering how budget friendly the price is.

Amazing mouse for the price! I love the dpi change; the back/forward buttons are a must in all mouses. The only thing I wish it had was a wheel adjuster. Beyond that, it's amazing -- especially for its price

works like a charm insanely good for its price and the mouse shape makes it so much easier to grip than some of the other mouses I've tried so far (perfect size for above average hands) I rate this mouse a 10 It hasn't failed me once this mouse is also very hard to get dirty (unless you're doing it intentionally)

Works great, simple. The mouse is very simple yet very dynamic and easy to get used to. I appreciate its use for gaming.

It's a pretty good wireless mouse. It is light weight and feels good in the hand from moving around to clicking. The side buttons are pretty good as well. Depending on the AA batteries you put into it, it last a good while. The only issue I have is that it would disconnect and reconnect during gameplay sometimes which is annoying, but it could just be my mouse. Otherwise it's a good product for it's price.

I love this mouse, nice and small and light for good flicks in fps. Easy dpi changer and app is versatile and easy to use. Battery has lasted awhile!

After many years using Apple's Magic Mouse, this has been such a joy and relief to switch to. I'm a professional editor, and the logitech G305 has increased my ability to log more and more hours at my desk with less hand fatigue. It's so light and responsive. I love the custom button functions; they've been so great as a tactile replacement for the Magic Mouse's gestures I was so used to and were so essential to my workflow. Even if you aren't a gamer, GET THIS MOUSE!!
