Because I joined an esports team I decided to get a lighter mouse to improve my aim but I was in a budget. This mouse has helped me so much and is so comfortable to use for longer periods of time. It fits my dpi needs perfectly and I would recommend this mouse to a colleague.

Amazing mouse for the price! I love the dpi change; the back/forward buttons are a must in all mouses. The only thing I wish it had was a wheel adjuster. Beyond that, it's amazing -- especially for its price

Honestly, I can't complain about it. It feels nice in the hand, it's nicely portable, and it lets you adjust the DPI as you wish. It's a simple mouse that gets the job done. I use it for CADing, and it has supported me well. I was hesitant because I use the Steel Series Rival 3 Wired for my main setup, but I gave this one a shot. I just wish it was slightly bigger, that's all.

Use for work everyday. No problems from it at all. The battery last a long time as well.

Went to a wireless mouse for first time after YEARS on a wired set up, which I didnt mind but the clutter is. So I read up on this one, which I didnt need an all out fancy rgb mouse, just a good performing mouse and this one exceeded my expections and didnt cost alot either. Wireless tech on mouses these days are pretty good found the precision to be just as good as the wired and very good battery life for the high usage I put it through in my gaming sessions. Simple plug and play with the usb bluetooth connector and boooooom you ready to play! Very good mouse and still highly recommend it to this day and its already proven itself

really lightweight and fits the hand perfectly. the button on the top adjusting the speed of the cursor is really good features. Love the ergonomics of the mouse.

Been using this for a few years now. It's unbeatable for the price. The only thing I have noticed is that sometimes, there is a a second of lag where the mouse doesn't respond though I think this is either a bluetooth driver issue or battery issue. Speaking of batteries, for one AA battery, this mouse lasts forever. Super light and accurate too.

comfortable, easy-to-use, right-handed mouse. Light enough for me and my big hands. Surprisingly large enough to use palm grip. I wish the customizable buttons on the left side of the mouse were closer to where the thumb rests.

** The Good ** The G305 isn’t what I would picture when I hear the words, “gaming mouse”. It doesn’t have nearly as many buttons as its G600 MMO gaming mouse sibling (which has 20 buttons) and lacks RGB lighting. I still list those under “The Good”, because I like having a “simple”, comfortable gaming mouse. I don’t want another numeric keypad on my mouse. I also don’t want a light show that will be covered by my hand when in use. The mouse uses a AA battery rather than a built in rechargeable battery. This could be a positive or negative aspect of the G305, it’s 100% personal preference. Logitech claims that a new AA battery will give you up to 250 hours of use. Obviously I haven’t been able to test this claim yet, but I’m sure it will come very close. Setting up the G305 was super easy. Just plug the USB receiver into your PC and you’re done. The small button on the mouse below the scroll wheel is the cursor speed toggle (no software required). The two buttons on the side are automatically set for back+forward when using a web browser. You can download Logitech’s “Gaming Software” from their website if you want to program the buttons or adjust the sensitivity (see screenshot). ** The Bad ** The G305 doesn’t have the heft that I would expect for a premium mouse. I’m sure the mouse is built quite well, but my Logitech MX Anywhere 2 (a portable laptop mouse) feels more solid than the G305. Another thing that’s a little disappointing is the size: it’s not as large or wide as some of my previous gaming mice. To compare it to the MX Anywhere 2 (again): the G305 and MX Anywhere 2 are similar widths and heights, while the G305 is just a little bit longer. This is 100% personal preference, so you may prefer the smaller size. It’s not uncomfortably small, but I would have preferred a larger size. ** Bottom Line ** If you want a reliable and simple gaming mouse, the G305 is a solid choice. You don’t need to download any software to get up and running; just plug in the receiver, use the cursor speed toggle button under the scroll wheel to find your preferred setting, and you’re done. It’s not a large gaming mouse, but it’s not small enough to be uncomfortable for prolonged use.

After many years using Apple's Magic Mouse, this has been such a joy and relief to switch to. I'm a professional editor, and the logitech G305 has increased my ability to log more and more hours at my desk with less hand fatigue. It's so light and responsive. I love the custom button functions; they've been so great as a tactile replacement for the Magic Mouse's gestures I was so used to and were so essential to my workflow. Even if you aren't a gamer, GET THIS MOUSE!!

I use this mouse for hours in an office application and haven't experienced any issues. It is very light and pretty comfortable overall. I do sometimes accidentally tap the back button, but I just need re-program the buttons, or get used to it :) It was on sale so the price was great. Battery has been great for the couple months I have owned it. Unifying adapter and software from Logitech allow me to use it seamlessly in my office with two different computers I need to do my work on.

For the price you pay, the performance is truly outstanding. I got this to replace the Logitech G403 because the rubber on the sides were wearing out just after a year of use. This mouse is lighter, wireless and it's all plastic so I won't have to deal with rubber falling apart. It does not have fancy lights like G403 but I personally see it as a plus since my room is usually dim, and I get enough light from my monitor and keyboard. It is a wireless mouse but feels just as good as wired, if not better.

Very light and great mouse to use for FPS games. The battery does last a long time. Extremely affordable if you're looking for a cheap good quality gaming mouse.

I’ve been using the Logitech G305 for a while now, and it’s been rock solid. It’s super responsive, lightweight, and perfect for both gaming and everyday use. What really impressed me was the battery life—my first AA battery lasted about 7 months with regular use. I do wish it had a built-in rechargeable option, but honestly, swapping a battery twice a year isn’t a big deal. For the price, it’s hard to beat the performance and reliability this mouse offers.
