What a difference for not much more $$! The G305 is much lighter and more responsive. The programmable buttons work well and are easy to use. And you can change the DPI depending on the app you are in. Lower for everyday work, higher for gaming, automatically! Love it.

good mouse with some annoyance

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.overall i like the mouse, but the side buttons are too touchy. the back one in particular is right under the thumb. when moving the mouse it is very easy to click inadvertently, which by default moves back in a browser. not great. it can be disabled in g hub. however, g hub is not reliable. it gets hung during update sometimes, which is leaving this default behavior active. unfortunate annoyance. search actually recommended opening it up and disconnect an internal wire. now that is funny.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.for one thing i bought this mouse for my kid and seen she was loving it i decided to buy one to try and i already have the g pro wireless and to my surprise this mouse is amazing u cant tell no differnce between the 2 actually will the g305 is basically the g pro but wireless and renamed too the g305 i put in a lithuim battery and amazing battery life this thing will njot have to be charged for a very long time vs my gpro wireless having to be charged every three days do to my heavy gaming sessions it is a sort of a small mouse but is perfect5 for claw grippers i have decent sized hands and it is still very comfortable for me and my use this mouse is way better than alot of higher in higher priced mouses

Simply put the battery in, take out the Bluetooth adapter from inside the mouse, put it in a USB slot in your computer and you're done. Feels nice even in my rather large hands and the audible clicking is just as satisfying to listen to as a mechanical keyboard.

The response time is excellent for games and I love that you can tweak the dpi settings through G hub. Not sure what the issue is that people have with it. Hear a lot of negativity over the software. I've had no issues with it yet between this and the g613 keyboard I have as well. Also not sure what the total hours may be that they've rated on the battery life but I've been using it for almost a month without even shutting the mouse off and it still shows a full bar on the battery. Highly recommend!
