Pros: Logitech is a trusted and well-known company. Easy to set-up with just using a USB. Cheap price for a suround sound PC headset. I really like the quality, I hear everthing including things I never heard in songs....I can really hear the bass really well. While playing games I can hear every footstep. The voice morpher is a nice touch and its fun to use in-game, but the only one people can really understand you with is the hamster voice one. The 3 different buttons on the left side of the ear is great for quick pausing music, and selecting tracks on ur media player/itunes. If I don't feel like wearing it because its hurting my head or i'm watching a movie with more than me I can turn it up(not even max) and people in the room can hear it. The mic is too strong, so when its nighttime I can whisper and my friends can hear me. Blocks noises coming from outside my mic. Cons: The 3 different sizes for your head pad is kinda unneeded. It hurts your ears after quite sometime The mic is too strong, my friends can hear conversations coming from another room in my house, If you have $150 I suggest you get this headset and the black tie protection just in case something happens to it like stated in someone else's review. It hasn't happened to me(and I hope it does not) but you can never be to careful.

Logitech makes many great products and these headphones with microphone are excellent. When playing music and games, they have great sound, microphone produces clear sound so others can hear you well and they are comfortable when worn for long periods. Once the software is installed, you can configure the headphones to meet your needs.

Has great sound, decent comfort once you get it fit. When i first got it, the over the head piece felt weird on the top of my head, now either my head has gotten used to it, or i finally fixed it perfectly. It is expensive, but it has great sound quality.

I have purchased many different headsets looking for the best gaming headset. I have played Counter Strike for over 14 years now and have had many headsets but this one trumps them all. The surround sound allows me to hear foot steps coming from all different angles the volume changes the level of sound depending on how close the players are. The microphone is super clear withan adjustable bending mic boom it's extremely comforfortable. It has preset buttons on the side you can change to open different programs and adjust for funny voices if you want to joke around. I have also used this headset for work as well, listening to pandora in the background and the other person that I'm selling to over the phone cannot hear the music so it makes work easier. The only negative thing I can say about this headset is that the charging port on the headset is extremely fragile. It's a micro USB connection and mine wore out and was not charging anymore and finally broke. You need to save your receipt because Logitech requires a copy of the receipt and they will send you a new one via ups. Otherwise it's a solid headset and I love it.

I bought this Headset for the PS3 wasn't thinking it was going to work and it did great sound and voice quality nice fit. a long USB cord so i can be far enough from the TV to feel right. also good for the PC but I will keep using it for the PS3. Great product, the price could stay at 80 dollars instead of 130. If your looking for a headset that is good for the PC or PS3 then this is it and get it while the sale is going on.

I paid about $65 for this from a Logitech dented box sale a few years ago, and couldn't be happier. For the retail price, I'd assume spend a little more and get the wireless G930s, but if you can catch the G36s anywhere under $80, they're a solid buy. Extremely comfortable, great sound quality, and very durable. I've had some driver issues occasionally, but uninstalling/reinstalling usually helps.

They're not bad. I didn't like how they sounded out of the box, but after adjusting in Logitech Gaming Software they sound fine. The earcups are decently comfortable. I gave these a 4 for 2 main reasons: 1, the headband can get a little uncomfortable after a little while, considering the padding isn't the softest material I've ever felt; and 2, the cable really wants to pull back into a coiled up state, but that's temporary. Overall I would probably recommend these.

These headphones are great for movies and gaming, I love the on the fly switching from 5.1 to stereo. The bass is deep and explosions sound GREAT. I don't like the limit on the function buttons, you can only use them for certain programs and then only certain functions. The cord is great and thick just like my G5 cord. And for 80 bucks on bestbuy.com? Great buy.

This headset is simply amazing. The sound quality is unmatched compared to my old headset. Prior to buying these I used a desktop mic, and my friends could tell the difference right away. The microphone is not too quiet or too loud, is sensitive and sounds crisp and clear compared to most microphones. The 7.1 sound quality may not be as good as actually having a 7.1 stereo system, but it's as close as you'll get to it in a headset. 7.1 Dolby is hard to come by in a headset. The controls are also very easy to access because they are built into the left earpiece rather than being attached to the wire (speaking of the wire, the wire is coated in a fabric-like material that seems to be very durable). The only negative thing I have to say about this headset is that it is expensive. Even though $130 seems like a lot to spend on a headset, if your serious about quality then go with it. It's well worth the cost. Logitech has proved yet again that they have some excellent products out there.

This headset is the best headset i have had before. i have Astro a40's and this headset is 10 times better than them. the g35 are so comfortable and teh cord is braided so it does not get tangled up. I could wear these for days. It has a mute button and a red light on the end to show that it is muted. these are the best 7.1 headsets out there by far!

I play a small handful of games, some online multiplayer, and had played many months with just the little earbud headphones. Play lots of COD5 W@W and a few guys had these headphones and loved them. I hedged on getting a pair because I had seen some reviews stating no surround sound with COD5, and that was my main game at the time. My friends reported no issues though. So when the sale price, coupled with $40 in best buy coupons, got me a price less than half retail I could not pass that up. Needless to say, they do sound great with any game I play. And even with all that research I did beforehand trying to confirm if they really worked with COD5, well after I bought them I finally did come across something that confirmed someone delivered a patch to make them work with COD5 (don't recall if that was one of the COD patches or Logitech patch, but doesn't matter...they work great). The goofy voice morphing I could do without, I dont' use it or see a need for it. That was not a selling point by any means for me, and in my opinion with a pair of headphones so expensive they might do better in making these w/o the voice morphing and subsequently lowering the cost.

You can hear everything around you when playing fps games. Music and videos sound great and you can modify how it sounds to your liking with the software. The buttons on the side are nice. Fits comfortably. My ears and top of my head doesn't get sore like I've experienced with other headsets.

This is hands down the best headset I have ever owned!

Absolutely love this headset. The only drawback, as I said, is that the surround sound doesn't function as well as advertised. Obviously left to right is easy to discern, but it's very hard to tell if sound that you're hearing in the peripherals is in front or behind your shoulders. But to me this is a minor detail, because the sound clarity is awesome. The mic quality (my friends tell me) is brilliant. The overall construction is reliable, and the styling is sleek. Awesome product!!!

i love these the sound is great and it feels like your sitting in a room with speakers blasting at you but... after a while they start to weigh down and hurt my ears a tiny bit, and the wait puts pressure on my neck otherwise great awsome sound and decent feel

Great headset, had it for 5 months and is good except for the cord itself. Its material makes it so that is tangles easy. Any static causes it to tangle worse and after 5 months was unusable. Whenever the headset moved it would disconnect from my pc.

Purchased a headset here, one of the swivel joints on the headband broke after about 7-8 months. I emailed Logitech, answered a few questions, than they payed for shipping to and from there center and I received my replacement in less than two weeks, Logitech has awesome customer support :) . The 7.1 surround sound works great and really helps when playing video games. They fit comfortably on my head (but I have heard this is varies with the overall shape of your head) The Mic comes through sounding clean and has very good noise reduction. A few problems it has is the cable tends to twist as you pick up/set it down and sometimes (rarely) I will have to unplug/replug it on system startup to make it become recognized. Also Logitech hasn't updated the software for this for a year (although this can be seen as good or bad) Overall i would recommend it. note: Logitech will release a newer version called the G930 which is basically the same except its wireless and is 30$ more, but Logitech hasn't started selling it yet, you can find details on their site.

Just got this headset today with discounted price. It looks huge when I open the box. After installing all softwares, I put it on, and I LOOOOOOVE it. The 7.1 system is great. Bass so strong and I don't wanna take it off.

Not to long ago I bought the premium clear chat headset and the mic just died. So I thought buying a headset with a thicker cord maybe the mic or the usb piece wont fall apart. The sound on the G35 sounds good but the surround sounds to distant and the bass is less. If you want to use regular audio then it sounds great, but if thats the case you may want to get a cheaper headset. The headset is bulky and it feels to tight. do have to say it"s great for gaming and watching movies. I actually felt like I was in the movie theatre.
