    Why . . . . ?

Logitech makes GREAT products . . . However if you have a bigger head then a normal person I guess your going to be in for some SERIOUS pain behind the ears. . . I was wearing them for merely 20 minutes just doing the setup on them and I had a 2 hour headache. . -Good It's sound quality is AMAZING ! ! And all the features are great and work VERY well the mute button and the G keys are in PERFECT locations. -Bad Ouch size OUCH ! ! And why leather I don't understand why company's make the ear cushions leather. . . . ? Use the fabric please it's much more comfortable. Now I would recommend this to a friend if they had a MUCH smaller head then me or the average person.

Great sound, Horrible design and mic

Pros: Sound was clear, decent at cutting down background noise, Microphone was pretty decent as well Cons: The mic is not adjustable without using a voice changer to sound like frankenstein or a squirrel (google it). The mic was pretty decent but it picked up EVERYTHING and the pictures shown with plastic connections broken are legit this is my SECOND pair had it for a month and it broke. I will be getting a full refund and finding a different set. fool me once.... but twice?!

after reading all the reviews online i was very scared of buying them but i seen them go on sale so i picked up a pair at the local Best Buy, and i gota say i might be returning them in a few days. Drivers work for me on windows 7 ultimate 64bit for what ive used now, but the Logitech panel have horrible controls, headset has near no bass and the "surround sound" makes u feel like your in a small barrel or something it has just a weird echo on everything. friend on teamspeak tell me that they hear every little background sound and keystroke. i am not against Logitech just these headphones i have owned and very happy with lots of Logitech products including a g15 keyboard and mx518 mouse.

    Bad Batch

Boy I was excited when I found that Best Buy had these headsets in stock. That was over a month ago, and I still haven't been able to use a decent headset from Logitech. The voice morph feature is amazaingly fun, and mic is very clear, however the headphones were terrible. Every single musich or sound software I tried to run with made the headphones snap, crackle, and pop like popcorn or rice crispy treats in a bowl. constant problems with the headphones. Took the first one back to Best Buy, got another one, same problem. Asked Logitech directly what the problem was. Their answer was that it was a bad batch, and that they would send me one from an updated batch. So I shipped the one had to them. A week or so later, got another one back, same problem. Talked to Logitech again. Their answer " whoops we messed up" we'll send you another. So I sent the third one back. A week or so later got another one. Guess what??? Same exact problem as the rest, from the exact same batch as the first 3. WOW!!! Is it that hard to send one that wasn't made at the same time as the other batches? Epic fail on the part of Logitech. Either issue a recall of all the defectic headsets, or at least let the customers know of the problem. Big pain in the you know what. Gonna just have to wait until the new Sound Blaster one comes out. Already pre-orderd. Feel like throwing the rest of my Logitech accessories out the window into a large fire pit. I will NEVER buy another Logitech accessory ever again.

    Good, but surround sound crackles.

Good headset overall, but microphone mutes itself randomly every once and a while. My biggest issue was that in surround sound mode it crackled a lot, and was very annoying.

Do not spend the money on these. Get Razer

One of the speakers broke off the headset about 2 months after purchase. They swivel, which is one of the reasons they broke. Why does it needs that? The swivel point is a cheap piece of plastic. If it was not for that I do think they would have lasted a long time. Sound and mic are really good but they are too heavy and uncomfortable. I have been through several gaming sets. Going tomorrow to get the set of Razer's I was orig out to get when I saw these.

Bought these to replace my sons Corsair Vengeance 2100's.. wow. I can believe they cost $100. They feel so incredibly cheap. They are not comfortable. They come with a pad to help with the head cushion but putting a new one in really exposes the poor quality. I kept them for about 2 hours, and instead bough a new Corsair set.

    Doesn't worl with PS#

Based on others reviews I thought these would be awesome for playing C.O.D. 4 and World at War. Now that I look back they didn't say what system they were using. I was very dissapointed that the PS3 doesn't support them. Sure you can set them up for in game chat but you can't hear any of the other in game sounds. Not a Logitech problem.

Yet another surround sound headset disappointment

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've been disappointed with the other surround sound headsets but when Logitech announced their headset I was encouraged to give it a try. In my experience Logitech generally makes the best headsets (with a couple notable exceptions). Unfortunately, the G35 is yet another surround sound headset failure. Rather than actual surround, it functions more like Dolby Pro Logic and badly at that. So I've gone back to my trusty Logitech 250. After all these years, it's still the best gaming headset out there.

Great headphones... If you like black flakes in your hair and on your shoulder. After about 2 months the black vinyl on the cushions start to wear off. And NO replacement parts for just the cushions, even though they are removable. Keep your receipt so you can get a warranty replacement.

Reviews looked good, but poor trial run

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

All the reviews I read made the G35 look really good, but when I tried them out it failed on a few fronts for me. When I had everything set up and ready, I went to the equalizer settings and noticed that if I turned the bass almost to max there was a crackling sound. I also noticed when playing games that the sound in general was hollow and distant. I don't know if my computer didn't install the drivers correctly or that my sound card wasn't matching up with the headset, but the sound quality was very poor. The headset is hefty and bulky, might be because I'm a short guy. It's not comfortable, tried to adjust the height to manage that but it didn't work. I would recommend looking at the pros and cons for the G35 to see if this headset is right for you.
