    This is my first true mechanical keyboard. I really liked the design, simple, brushed steel and back-lit keys. The action seems pretty good, even if my typing is not. There is a bit of a "springy" sound, but not really noticeable unless quiet, but not annoying either way. There are good deal of user defined functionality that can be set up but I have not tried any of it. One word of warning, it needs two USB ports, but it does have one one the upper right edge.

    I've used many of the most popular mechanical switches and the Romer-G is my favorite. This keyboard let me get my preferred typing feel at work without having a keyboard that looks out of place in the office. The addition of function keys and a USB pass through are appreciated. My one criticism is that the USB port directly wired to a secondary USB cable so this takes two ports on your PC when it's in use.
