So, the Logitech G430 Headset is nice. It's comfortable, sturdy, and long-lasting for a headset. I had a friend recommend me this headset a year ago, and his headset still lasted two years and counting today. I got it when it was 50% off, which basically is an instant cop. I am not a headset fanatic or anything of that sort, but this headset definitely meets my expectations of a beast headset. Personally, I think it has a fine microphone quality, good audio, and amazing comfortability. Pretty good if you're into gaming.

This is a good headphone for anyone who is looking for a built-in microphone and the quality without breaking the bank. Just know that this headphone model uses a USB-driver to help simulate the surround sound and DOES NOT come with the similar version to this, the G230. Logitech has software to help simulate the surround sound it promotes but know you don't get it right out of the box unless you have other Logitech-supported items (keyboard with the G-series key).

Overall good quality. Lacks a little in the bass department. I only paid $40 and feel like I got a great deal.

I recently purchased a new Samsung Galaxy s9 plus, and knew I had to buy a higher quality headset to play games like Player Unknowns Battlegrounds and Modern Combat 5. I watched countless reviews for headsets from respected youtubers. After days of review binging, I came to the conclusion that Logitech gaming headsets were the most bang for your buck. I just couldn't decide between the red G230 or the blue G430. I visited Best Buy, and was very impressed by the customer service that was provided. I asked an onslaught of questions, and finally determined that the surround sound G430 was the right choice. I went out to my vehicle, and immediately opened the product, (which was nicely packaged to begin with) plugged it into my phone using the 3.5 mm adapter that is included, (One of my questions for that poor associate...) and was blown away on every aspect. The quality of the sound, and the volume was amazingly sharp. I played Pubg mobile that same night, with maximum volume, (on both phone and headset) and could hear footsteps from an exact degree of position. If you are looking to purchase a quality headset for under $60, I would strongly suggest this masterpiece from Logitech. I would also suggest Best Buy and your retailer, for their professional service.

I bought these during a sale. They're a fairly good pair of gaming headsets that fully cover the ears and have a microphone. Nothing to write home about though. FIT: I would say I have a roundish head instead of a long face. The headphones fit me fine. EARPIECES: There are fabric covers over the earpieces so you can remove them in order to clean them if they get dirty. My friend has the same pair and he says it gets hot with his ears fully covered, but it's fine for me. TOP BAR: I'm referring to the connecting piece between the 2 earpieces. I noticed that if I wear the headphones for a long time (over a few hours), I'll experience some minor pain at the top of my head. I think that's due to the "bar" resting on top of my head so that all the weight is pushing down on top of my head. I think I'll just need to adjust the fit in the future. MICROPHONE: The microphone will do a satisfactory job, assuming you're not a pro-gamer (and really, if you're reading this, you're not a pro-gamer). It does a fairly good job of being unidirectional and only picking up my voice. However, I can hear my friend typing on his mechanical keyboard when he uses this headset. To be fair, we didn't use any Logitech software to try to customize the setup. CONNECTION: This has the standard 3.5mm plugs for speaker and microphone. The box comes with an adapter to convert these 2 plugs into a USB connection, if you need that to connect to your PC (and maybe console?). CONCLUSION: I'm not sure if this item is worth full MSRP because you might be able to get an excellent headset for a few more dollars above MSRP. However, I would definitely recommend this headset if it's on sale for a beginner gamer since you should mainly be using your gaming dollars for more games or better graphics card/CPU/memory.

Got this for my son and he loves it. Really long cord and comfortable on the head. with the mic on it as well it was all he needed and more.

Seeing a 7.1 surround-sound headset for the price made me skeptical of the quality, but it has proved me wrong. It's very comfortable, and it's very easy to switch from 7.1 surround to stereo if so desired. Microphone works very well too.

Comfortable on a budget. It has great sound fits really well. You could pay a lot more for a lesser product.

It's a fairly comfortable headset for the price. I really like the connections which allow you to connect via USB or 1/8 jack. The USB connection works great with a PC or Playstation 4.

The headset quality is great. The blue ear cuffs are cloth and very comfortable. They can be cleaned and even replaced with new ones. The headphones have a pink mic & green speaker minijacks but comes with a USB port adapter as well.

This over the ear headset set is fantastic. Surround sound, lightweight, none-intruding microphone, and excellent comfort. You can configure the headphones with the Logitech software as you wish and best fit your needs. It is excellent for gaming and chat clients, but even for regular music, it is outstanding. If you want microphones exclusively for music, this may not be your best option, but the overall quality of the product for every purpose sound and communications, this is arguably one of the best out there.

got this for my nephews Christmas presents. My son already has one and has been using it and he really enjoy it. If there is not complains from him, I can say it is a good product

This it's my second pair of these specific headphones. They're comfortable, come with the option of direct audio port or USB plugin, come with a long cord to allow for liberal seating and maneuvering your computer space, and, best of all, they have optimal sound quality! For $40 you can't beat the bag for your buck. Only con it's that the cord CSM get twisted easily which tends to be a standard trait for cloth covered cords, but you can minimalize that by using the Velcro storage strap to take up the slack.

Picked it up while it was on sale and I absolutely love it! The surround sound is EXTREMELY useful in my shooter games (COD, Fortnite, Battlefield) and just great for open world game sounds. I use this for both my Playstation and Computer. It’s cord is over 6 feet long which reaches from my playstation (since it’s USB) to my couch on the other side of the room just fine. I mainly play my playstation on my PC monitor as well though. Just letting you all know it has great length to it.

The unit looked great and it sound great. The lines are 2 heads (1 mic & 1 Ear) which work great with many old models, it also came with a 2-1 USB converter which make it ideal for computers, but the one thing I was disappointing was that it doesn't have 2-1 combo connector, which means I can't use it on tablets, phone and newer laptops unless I use the USB. But for the Price we got it, it was amazing

The sound quality is amazing bu the overall built feel very cheap. I wish they would use better material. It is not very comfortable in comparison to my old sennheiser headset.

bought it for my son. he is a gamer and wears them for long periods of time. we have gone through many headsets due to breakage or uncomfortable to wear for long sessions. he is loving this headset because of its comfort. i am loving its durability and the fact that you can remove the padding and wash the ear cushion covers. the cords seem to be more rugged than any we have purchased and the sound quality is great as well. a quality product at a reasonable price.

So after using these headphones for a while, this is my honest review about them. Pros: 7.1 Surround Sound Fair Price USB 7.1 Surround Card Cons: Build Quality Comfort Same Exact Headset as G230 This headset is a decent 7.1 virtual surround sound headset for the price. At $50-$79.99 being the average price range, you can't get much better for a surround sound headset. You can distinctly tell the difference with the surround sound on. Although, it does not come with 7.1 surround sound out of the box, you have to download the software from the Logitech website first, in order to gain this feature. The biggest complaints with these headphones, the build quality is poor. I feel like like if I'm tough with them at all, they'll break right in front of me. I also am not a fan of the foam cushions on the ear cups. They're a hard material that eventually get formed to your head, but they're uncomfortable during that process. Last, but the biggest complaint of them all, THESE ARE the exact same headphones as the Logitech G230. What's the difference? Literally, the only differences are the color, and the USB Sound Card that comes with the G430. If you would combine that sound card with the G230, that would be the 7.1 surround sound headset. Overall though, if you're on a low budget and looking for a surround sound headset, I would get these. If you have extra money to spend, I would definitely look into other headsets.

I have been using this as a headset for my TV while watching movies and on the Xbox, and I have been quite satisfied with it. Sound quality is better than my tv or any low end headset. The cord is about 10 ft long, which is long enough for what I need. I have not yet used the mic, so I cannot say much on that. The only negative for me is that the headset sits a little tight against my glasses, causing some discomfort after extensive use.
