This is a great headset, but omits important info. What makes the headset "surround sound" is the USB adapter bundled with the headset. Without the adapter, this headset is identical to the G230, but with a blue skin. You can buy the G230 instead, and save money by buying a separate adapter for less, or use integrated sound card features to simulate a 3D sound environment. Still an excellent headset, and would recommend to my friends and family.

Bought these for my son and he loves them. No complaints. He says they are great for keeping outside noises out. Gives the full surround sound aspect.

The sound is so good on these that at first I thought there was noise outside but it was just the high quality surrounded sound.

Bought this for both my kids and they are both very happy. The sound is clear and they use it to record videos for YouTube. The headset has taken some abuse but is still working, which is impressive. I would also point out that the length of the chord is long enough that it allows freedom of movement while wearing.

Bought this as a gift for a friend but I was impressed with the quality and sound for a <50$

The head set is perfect for gaming. Sound is perfect and the microphone to talk into works great! Can't beat the price either. Very satisfied

Headset is just as good if not better than brand name headsets. And the price was spot on.

Strong build quality (plastic w/ inner metal frame) from muff to muff and the material is quite comfy and sound cancelling. No problems with the sound quality and no bugs found in hours of play. Could use some more flexibility with the mic as it is rigid along the horizontal axis.

Considering the price point on this headset I have to say it's a good buy. The sound quality is fine,, and the mic does the job. It works as intended HOWEVER, if you are coming from an expensive headset to this you WILL notice the sound quality difference. I bought it as a backup pair to use on a laptop for Skype and it's served the purpose great.

I purchased this headset for my son, (he’s a huge gamer) and he said that they worked great and were very comfortable to wear.

So in all honesty this is a great pair of headphones, sound is crisp, voice is clear and its comfy to wear for hours. I only have one issue. connecting the device via the usb add-on does not work. period. not after drivers or tweaking or anything. but just direct connect and no issue.

Sound is clear and earcups are solid, keeps ambient sounds out. I can barely hear other people in the room.

The sound from is product was really good. However, I was under the impression it was compatible with the ps4 and I can connect it to my controller, but that was not the case. The wire has the audio cord and a mic cord, so I couldn't use it on the controller. This is also a USB headset.

I paid way more for another brand 2 years ago. This brand does the same function but more up to date and the price is lower.

Great headset for gaming! I can hear everything! Comes in handy when sound is important like Hardcore Modes on Call of Duty

Good product, however I wish they would work with the gaming systems and just not with the computer.

If you're looking for a decent headset for the beginning gamer, I'd recommend this one. It's comfortable to wear, even for hours of gaming. The earphone sound is very good. The microphone could be better, but it's adequate given the price point. The blue lights are cool looking. Over all, I'm very satisfied with this headset.

This is my first headset I got for myself and I love the surround sound it has. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
