Great Sound, Very Uncomfortable with My Glasses

I really wanted to be happy with these, but alas it was not to be. At least not completely. Starting with the pros: The sound quality on these headphones is actually very good for the price, with full 7.1 surround sound that actually gives you the perception of sound in different quadrants of the sound area, meaning you can hear things coming up behind you or off to your side, an excellent help with FPS-type games. The driver for the speaker is the same as the more expensive headphones in this line, so you’re not sacrificing sound for price with this set of headphones. The sound knob is placed behind the left ear and is easy to reach on-the-fly. This is much better than some that have a knob in-line in the wire that can get bumped or moved & you lose audio. The mic is a “flip up to mute” type, so there’s never a question as to whether you’re on mute or not, again unlike other headsets that use an in-line control button. The sound on the mic is excellent, as well, and never had an issue with anyone not being able to hear me or sounding like I was distant. Now the cons: Starting with the construction, the plastic feels thin and cheap to me. It makes that awful plastic “creaking” noise when you put any pressure against the plastic, which always makes me think “cheap”. This thinner plastic should make them a bit lighter in weight but isn’t, likely due to the size of the speaker driver (an acceptable trade off). (That said, they aren’t overly heavy to begin with, just saying that they didn’t save anything other than cost with the thinner plastic.) Now the biggie: I wear glasses with a thicker side arm and found these to be absolutely unbearable after about an hour. The padded ear cups, while pretty soft, aren’t soft enough to give around the frame of my glasses & started pushing it into my skull. I tried repositioning them multiple times, but they never got comfortable. So for short use, they were fine, but everyone knows we’re not jumping on gaming systems for an hour & leaving. As a PC gamer, I was forced to convert the single 3.5mm headphone jack to USB using the included USB DAC dongle, once again paying homage to those who console game. While I understand this, I’m worried that there is a potential for losing that dongle & rendering the headphones useless on my PC. For those using these with a computer with the old headphone & mic jacks separate, there is an adapter for the single 3.5mm to dual 3.5mm plugs, as well. The mic is beefy, and bends “a little” toward your mouth. Personally, I like a mic that goes pretty close to my mouth, and this one is stiff to the point you can’t get it close. And while it does bend, know that for every 1 inch you try to bend it in, it will bend back out on its own about a half inch. In my opinion, the wire inside the mic needs to be a bit more flexible for those of us who wear it more like an aircraft headset. Also, not a con, just a heads-up. If you want to use this with Windows, you really have to download the Logitech software to go with the headset & not just use the plug-and-play that happens when you connect it. The plug-and-play doesn’t cancel the mic-to-earphone sound, so when you’re speaking you hear everything directly in your ears louder than the incoming audio. The Logitech software cancels that sound and lets you speak & hear normally. Overall: Overall these are excellent-sounding headphones at this price point. I think a lot of the gaming hardware is overpriced for what you get anyway, playing on a niche market of people who tend to want beefier hardware with a lot of bells & whistles like LEDs and 200 buttons on a mouse. The G432 comes in as a simple set of headphones with few extra bells & whistles, but with outstanding sound quality. Had they been more comfortable with my glasses, they would have garnered a 4 or 5 rating from me. Logitech (and other manufacturers) could at least design & sell an ear pad that has a small relief area or cutout in it that allows your glasses arms to fit thru. But until these manufacturers realize that those of us with glasses really need some design that provides relief in the area where our glasses sit, we’re stuck with less-than-comfortable solutions. This was no exception.

I have spent hours troubleshooting ways to remove the interference with the headphones and mic. The cords are very cumbersome and the constant buzzing in only my left ear (right ear has no sound), is so annoying, that after my video conference, I am fried.

First thing I like about them is the rgb lighting. Does not do a whole lot for functionality but when on long Skype chats it is fun to be the most stylish in the conversation. These are my first gaming headphones. They have great sound that requires the software being inatalled and configured. I like the options of using them on a pc, mac and gaming console like my Xbox one. They serve a multi purpose. The parts that are not so good is there was not a case included for travel. No adapters like usb-c for future devices. If you do not install the software they are just really expensive headphones. Again I think the quality of Logitech shows here.

The micro-USB port for the headset starting having issues within two weeks of buying. I've been a Logitech consumer for years and this is the first headset I've bought from them that has truly disappointed me. Avoid it at all costs.

Purchased these for my son for his 9th Birthday January 220. By April the mic went out and one speaker making them only usable on one side. Thank goodness I purchased the warranty and replaced them with a different brand.

Hi. If he is playing on a PlayStation, audio will only come to one side unless he switches all the audio to come through the headset. Wireless headsets will be able to have both ears in use when it's just chat audio coming through it. But if you have any questions, check out the Logitech support page at https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024319233.

I was excited to get these in to try them out. I prefer a wired headset over wireless ones so I don't have to worry about charging them before I play or the headset itself going dead. In the looks department they look good overall. A nice balance that doesn't scream gamer and professional headset. There is a RGB strip on both ear cups and RGB Logos as well. The headband is comfy with a memory foam material and the inner band itself is metal which is a plus. The ear cups are 50mm and feel really comfy when worn. I like the overall fit itself. On the left ear cup are where your controls are located for ease of use. There are 3 "G" buttons you can customize as well as a rotary volume adjuster and a fold down mic. If you are using these for PC they are great and you can use all of the control buttons as well as access the RGB lighting with a software download but if you are using this on an Xbox ( in my case ) that is where these fall short on the controls, sound wise these still sound great. When plugged into the Xbox controller using the included 3.5mm cable all you get is the sound and no controls. Volume is not adjustable and the RGB lighting is not on. I had to adjust the sound of the headset while in the Xbox menu. Not very convenient when you are mid game and need to adjust volume or EQ settings. Mind you they do still sound great while playing games. So if you are looking to primarily use these with a PC I'd give them a shot but if you are using for an Xbox (havent tried other consoles) I'd pass. On a side note I did use these with my phone and the music sounded great, deep bass and high treble just the way I like my EQ settings straight out the box!

I picked these up for testing because I expected the company that owes Astro would now have the same quality product. Not the case for these! I understand that at this price point I was not going to be Wowed. But I should have at least been satisfied. First off, I am an in no way bashing Logitech. I have a bunch of their products and swear by them. Even these head phone are designed and built very well not to mention super comfortable even after wearing for several hours (don't judge :^). However, the overall sound loudness is where I lose interest. I don't want my ears blown out, but I do want to hear everything as good as the developers intended and these miss that mark. When I compare these to several other pair in the "Same product category" the G432 model are much quieter than the rest of field, even at max volume on the well place volume adjustment wheel. Again, not saying that they don’t work just saying that the sound is about as good as your tv can pick up. When I put on a pair of headphones to game, it is so that I can have an edge which I do not feel I gain here. My thoughts are for the value that I can assure you these are, they best suited for perhaps a younger person or someone with sensitive hearing.

Good Quality, Breaks After A While

I love these. They work amazing. There is just one problem I found with them, and that's the sound. I listen to loud music all the time, so I knew this would happen sometime in the future, but not this fast. I got them in mid January, and I just noticed it today. It kinda sounds like the bass is overpowering the rest, making the vocals sound all fuzzy. But besides that, they work amazing! They work on my PS5, Iphone XR, Laptops, nd even my echos around the house. the mic sounds fine, volume control works ok, (gets sticky near the end, but that doesn't madder), and the mic mutes when you mute it on the headset, I also like how it comes with an dongle so there is one for the mic and one for the volume. I would definitely recommend these to whoever is reading this, as long as you control the volume.

Headsets can be a love hate relationship. They are needed, but finding ones that are comfortable for long periods is a bit more challenging. And ear buds are not the answer because they fall out, run out of power, or at just not comfortable for long periods of time. This headset addresses all of these issues. First off, if you wear glasses, they feel good. No pressing of glasses against your head. There is also a headband cushion that lets them rest comfortably against the top of your head. Plus the ear cups move around side to side for a comfy fit. There is a decent amount of sound out of these. They arena serious gaming headset. You can adjust volume on your device or there is a perfectly placed volume wheel on the one ear cup, so you can adjust while playing. The voice quality is very good so others hear you easily. This will work with any platform, or device. It comes with a usb converter, a single 3.5mm to 2 3.5mm splitter, and is built with a single 3.5mm dual purpose jack. This is a lightweight set and easy to use for hours at a time without feeling frustrated with them. While there are features for gaming including surround sound, I found them equally useful as a business headset for my iPhone using the 3.5mm to lightning adapter that came with my iPhone. As for music, they are very good. They capture the highs and lows of each piece of music from each genre while providing realistic bass in the background and not part of the vocals. Surround sound for music is excellent! A great follow up to Logitech’s last similar offering. Frankly I haven’t found anything from Logitech that is less than excellent!

Right away you'll notice these are light when you go to unbox them and even though they are light they look and perform great! The cable is a slim rubber cable (as opposed to a braided nylon cover) which I think is a huge plus. At one time I considered the nylon covered cables the best but have found they catch on things and tend to end up with frayed spots with use so anticipate these will hold up to use a lot longer. The build quality of the headphones is good overall, they feel solid but are light and have good padding on the headband and the ear cups. They come with a USB audio adapter for the computer but can be used on any device with a 3.5 mm audio jack. They also have an adapter cable that separates out the mic and audio for audio devices that have them separate. On the PC, I did notice that the sound quality seems better with the adapter so would recommend using it when using the headphones but using them without still works good overall. They have audio controls on the ear cups and the mic mutes/unmutes when it's flipped up and down. I do wish the volume up/down was on the cord and not the ear cup as it'd be easier to find when you need to quickly adjust volume. In terms of comfort, they are pretty nice, didn't sweat my ears, and I didn't feel like my head was in a clamp. Audio quality is good with a nice full range with deep bass and decent highs. Again, the USB Adapter helps but for most games and situations they are great as they are. The DTSX is pretty cool if the game has it enabled, you really can hear steps coming up behind you and when hearing firing guns you can hear the direction they are coming from just like you were there - pretty cool! The audio tuning software is pretty straight-forward and lets you tweak the audio equalizer to fit your taste. Overall they are great and meet my expectations for a good gaming headset. In summary, the pros and cons are: Pros Lightweight Comfortable Versatile Includes USB adapter for PC Software for audio tuning DTS:X certification Cons Wired Volume keys on headset

Good headset for middle level gaming. Lacks some deeper bass I was hoping for but sound is crisp and clear. Very comfortable wearing does not start to hurt your ears after 30 minutes like some headsets. Does a fairly good job of blocking out outside noise but not completely. Regardless this is still a well built headset and I would recommend it.
