Good mouse but needs better durabilty.

I own 33 of these because I wear out the left button. I wish Microsoft still made the Sidewinder mouse.

Barely notice the rgb but thats fine because youre hardly looking at the mouse.

To be clear the hardware is fine, but after the most recent updates the side buttons, which I map to movement in my games, have 3 to 5 second input delay. You can just google g502 hero side button delay, and you will see I am not the only one. As this was my go to mouse I had even bought spares and can confirm it is indeed not the hardware. I used to have a download of g hub from mid 2023, unfortunately my g hub updated, and the mouse is once again unresponsive and unusable for me. I am sad to say I will be forced to buy a mouse from a different brand, as I cannot buy a logitech mouse until they fix the software it uses.... I was hoping to hold out for a fix, but this has persisted for months, with multiple updates not addressing the issue.

Decent mouse with issues

Extra button placement for button 4, up and back from your natural thumb position is awkward. The supplied weights seem a bit gimmicky. The software will see the mouse, but never connects so assigning buttons 4 - 6 to individual game functions is not possible.

I've found that gaming mice and keyboards are more subjective than most things and that everyone has a different preference and style that they like and is comfortable for them. Fast and reactive

And the spin thingy in the middle is really fast and smooth too. I got to the 100,000th row in excel when I tried scolling as fast as possible with one push.

Overall not impressed with the product. Dpi feels inconsistant and it feels fragile. even with all the added wieghts provided in packaging it still feels too light. No fault or dig at best buy, the product just isn't what I thought it was.
