Posted .G502 Hero: Great wired gaming mouse for you (and gamers in general) since you've liked it for years! Pros: super precise, tons of buttons to customize, comfy grip. Cons: wired (no freedom!), kinda heavy, buttons galore might be overwhelming.
Software issues plague an otherwise decent mouse

It seems to be made with high quality materials and has some weight to it. It glides across a typical mouse pad very well with no issues. It is a bit on the smaller size for those with larger hands. All of this could be looked over if it wasn't for the horrendous software that you install to use this... Sadly I saw nothing but issues with the Logitech G Hub software. It is probably the worst peripheral management software I have ever used. Custom profiles never switched over, it constantly ignored changes and tweaks that I made, and my sensitivity would randomly change incessantly. No amount of tinkering and troubleshooting would work. I even tried different USB ports and complete reinstallation. I know I am in the minority due to the overwhelming love of this mouse by the gaming community. However, the software issues alone are enough for me to just look for something else. I will be returning as soon as I possibly can.

In my opinion, after using and then returning all other gaming mice. This is the best button mouse.....by far...no joke. This most I have spent on a mouse is $179. This thing is cheap for what it gives you.

I use it for gaming so the more mouse buttons the better, but I had never found a mouse that had the buttons in the perfect place until I got this g502. With my alt, shift mods I have 20+ keybinds on my mouse. Highly recommend to any gamer that is looking for an affordable and high end gaming mouse.

I find the software eons better than Razr's and feel it is quite an upgrade from the Razr basilisk which is the same price, but wireless. I would take this one anyday.

This one somehow feels slightly cheaper compared to my old one. Cable isn't braided anymore, its just rubber now. And the mouse feels lighter even with the weights. But all in all it's still a pretty good mouse. Would recommend.

Plus it helps in alot of games instead of having to use your keyboard.
