It has all the programable buttons you need except for mmorpg players I suppose, a free scroll wheel button for going down pages quickly and an overall great build quality in terms of materials and feel. Logitech's Ghub software expands it customizability to levels I've never would have expected for a mouse. Overall it is well worth the MSRP and a steal when on sale.

The wired G502 is a great replacement with it 16k sensor and adjustable weight.

I don’t game like most via mouse and keyboard, but it does have convenient positioning of buttons. I use it with weights (included) as it is smoother.

The thing that I most like about it is the infinity scroll wheel, but when you use it a lot, it does get 'weaker' in away. It does feel great in the hand.
