Great mouse, crappy wheel

Im not talking a small wiggle, full on rattle. If i was browsing a web page i would move the mouse too fast and the wheel would scroll on its own. I returned it after 2 days and went with something else. Other than the unbearable wheel, the mouse worked great. The little weights added a good amount of balance for someone with big heavy hands.

I have big hands and this is OK to me. The couldn't figure out how to use the fire button in games so this gets a 3 star.

Fits my hand and has good placement of buttons. Adjustable sensitivity and precision are a big plus for me. However, I do not like that inorder to fully program the mouse programmable buttons I must use a online installer to install software to my compuer. I will not do this for security reasons. The manufacturer should supply this software with the mouse or at the very least a proper installer that can be downloaded, scanned and installed offline.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have bough the previous versions of this mouse, both the Original Proteus Core, Proteus Spectrum and now the Hero. Compared to the previous mouses there isn't much that is different besides the thinner and more durable braided cable, uprated switches and newer more accurate sensor. That doesn't mean its a bad thing, as subjectively I liked the fit of the previous mouses and bought the Hero Model for that reason. Other than that I'd really be hard pressed to suggest buying this over the older versions of this mouse unless you're a big fan of this series of mouse.
