Excellent wired gaming mouse

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using a Logitech g602 for wireless gaming with my laptop for years, but decided recently to purchase a wired mouse for my desktop (to avoid using batteries unnecessarily). I decided on the g502 since it was on sale and looked very similar to my g602; I have not been disappointed. While the g502 loses some side buttons, it does gain a wheel that you can switch between free-spinning and clicky mode. While clicking the middle mouse button seems more reliable than on the g602, it does take more effort to scroll with the wheel in clicky mode. The removable weights are kind of a bonus; the mouse is heavy enough that additional weight shouldn't be required. I don't find the mouse too heavy in its base configuration. In sum, I really like this mouse and I'm glad I purchased it. For the price I paid, it couldn't be beat. (I'll try to remember to update in a year or two.)

I can say after a few months of using it I still absolutely love it. It feels great, has plenty of programmabilities, and I also got my brother one for his new PC.

I have the wireless version for home and have each key set to shortcuts for different games. I wanted the same for work and went for the cheaper wired version. It's the same thing. I've added all of my shortcuts to the various keys and I feel much more productive.

This is a common issue with these. The infinite scroll will go down then jump back up. It's very annoying and should've been fixed years ago. Otherwise I love the size and feel of this mouse. The only other mouse I'd consider is the Razer Basilisk but the Razer is a little longer so keep that in mind if you don't like long mice.

Very classy, sharp, and responsive. Recently just started having issues selecting text, dragging and dropping, etc. Bought a replacement on sale; however, if that one has the same issue, I will not be purchasing this mouse again. Serious quality issues.
