It is programable, with weights on the bottom to adjust to how you use your mouse. It works well with a "claw" handed grip, or someone who arches their fingers instead of straightening them. I can't reach all of the buttons with my claw grip, but this is ok, there are alot of them. It has RGB lighting you can set to your mood. My first mouse by logitech was a logitech first mouse plus. It lasted for 20 years and I could bullseye with it even then. I'm not expecting that out of this mouse, but it is on it's 5th year with no problems in sight. The G502 HERO SE performs exactly as the day I bought it. I've been a logitech person ever since my first mouse plus.
