Second mouse(replaced under warranty) failed with right click issues, logitech won't replace it because its been 2 years since I bought the original. Don't bother with model if you play a lot of FPS games, the right click button will develop an issue where it will constantly click unless you hold firm pressure on the button. If you even let up on the button at all, even with it still depressed it will register clicks. It makes it impossible to use scopes in some games. Best buy still lists this as a 3 year warranty but logitech says 2. Logitech even came out with a firmware update to address the issue but it does nothing

The g502 Is nothing but an amazing mouse. With great mouse buttons and great clicks. The only problem I have with it is sometimes I move my mouse to fast that the tracker can’t keep up. I never had this prob with my viper ultimate.

Overall it was a good mouse while it lasted. I liked everything about it. However, after about six months the left and right click buttons started being inconsistent in that some times when I clicked them, nothing would happen. I definitely expect a mouse of this caliber to last longer than six months. My mouse use is quite normal. Some gaming, some work. Nothing particularly heavy duty on the mouse.

The left click button is narrow, and the button to increase dpi is right next to it, I had to disable the button to stop from accidentally hitting it. It says 11 programmable buttons but 4 of those are just for dpi or profile settings, can't be programmed to do anything else. Sensor works well, clicking is fast response, but I prefer mice with a place for my ring finger so I can maneuver back and forth easier and my right 2 fingers don't have to clench up.

We ordered this gaming mouse in June 2020. It took a couple of weeks to get it back in stock and shipped to us. Today, 7/24/2020, the mouse died. My son was very disappointed that it only lasted a month. Luckily, we purchased a Geek Squad protection plan and were able to get it replaced. They were out of stock of this particular brand, though, so we replaced it with a different brand. Here’s hoping it lasts longer than a month!

I previously used G305 as my main mouse thinking that it would probably be the same. Granted, G305 is a wireless mouse, but G502 is a major upgrade. From now on I will be using G502 as my main mouse and bring G305 whenever I am on the go.

After 4 months of casual gaming, the right click doesn’t work all of the time. After 6 months, the left click no longer functions all of the time. Imagine any time you have to hold either click down and it registers 3-6 clicks instead of one long one.. totally unreliable after a very short time. I’m not even a pro gamer or a streamer. I play overwatch at night after work, and now I can’t play most hero’s because my mouse won’t let me properly or reliably use certain weapons or functions. This mouse is just garbage and the company that sells it has a garbage website that does not handle warranty’s very efficiently. I doubt I will be able get a replacement. I regret choosing Logitech and do not recommend the brand for gaming.

i had the original G502 RGB mouse form a couple years back. it was great. i replaced the mouse sliders twice in 3 years, probably didn't even need to. This mouse was on a great sale, and figured id get the newest optics and the newer design. no brainer, best.mouse.ever.

Hello bsfam, I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some issues with your G502. If you didn't know it already, the buttons below the scroll wheel should change the dpi on the mouse to other presets. If you want to further customize the dpi, feel free to download our GHub software, which should allow you to set dpi, customize all the buttons, as well as change the RGB settings.

Bought for son and he says it's night and day better than the previous one he had for his gaming laptop. Buttons are sturdy and less likely to wear out and break and he says precision and refresh are great for the shooters he plays. Bought on sale making it a great value for performance.
