love the G502 hero mouse
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i enjoy Logitech products and especially there G502 mouse. the software seems to have changed as it does not let me calibrate to a mouse pad or surface anymore like it used to. but the mouse tracks flawlessly and does not need that. I have there older G502 mouse and loved it. this mouse allows you to go to 16000 dpi instead of the older one that only goes to 12000 dpi. I enjoy the fact that it has a couple extra buttons but not a lot. I like having a button that lets you go up and down thru your dpi settings. and then it also has a button that when pressed will go to a specific dpi setting. I use this in fps games when I want to be able to look around fast. I like that Logitech makes it easy to sync my mouse along with my keyboard (G513). the mouse is a good size. for some it might be a bit on the big side. but I like the size and have gotten used to using it. it already has a good amount of weight to it, so I don't use the weights but if you like a heavy mouse, it has weights and many options for adding in weights. overall, love the mouse and recommend it. its a good price in my opinion for what you get. tracks very well and smoothly.

Crappy switches all around. I have this problem with Logitech's that have custom software or nothing at all. Going to try to salvage 5 of these paper weights and Geek Squad replace and Craigslist my latest one.

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.seems like bottom glide pads on logitech has problems both g502 proteus and hero edition have same problem, but my hero edition lasted only 3 weeks, my proteus edition still works but those pads on bottom realy messed up. currently im on the phone with logitech to see if I can get repair or exchange, but as it turns out you have to pay a charge to talk to logitech support. completly unacceptable. so yeah I think I wont be buying any logitech product ever from this point.

Right click doesn't hold. I thought it was kind of odd that the mouse wheel has much wobble as it does too. This mouse was recommended to me by a friend. Not impressed and didn't last long at all. Imagine the frustration when trying to ADS and getting constant scope in and out's during matches. It's not fun. The problem has gotten significantly worse over the past few days.

Posted .Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear that you've been having some issues with your G502 HERO mouse. It sounds to me like you're having a double click issue. First, try cleaning both the clicks with a can of compressed air, as sometimes the issue can be that dirt or dust has accumulated around the switch inside the mouse. Second, try going into your settings on your computer and adjusting double click sensitivity, as that can also solve the problem.

Posted .Hey there Hunt, and I apologize for the issues you've been having with the mouse. It sounds like GHub may not have installed properly, so I would recommend fully uninstalling and reinstalling the software to make sure that's not the issue. If you have any profiles for other devices, make sure you back those up so you don't lose them.
