Would have been zero stars. I used this mouse only for an hour or two. Long enough to find out it doesn't work. The instructions are a joke. Nothing about this mouse worked except actual right, and left mouse clicking, which you can get with any perfectly capable $10.00 mouse. I was so disgusted with it, I threw it out after unplugging it from my computer.

It is plug and play with my windows 10 Alienware PC. I have downloaded the software from the website to enable all features of this mouse. The build quality is great and you can program up to 11 buttons. The performance of this mouse is really good. It is easy to customize the DPI in software. It came with 4 presets and it is easy to switch from game mode to work mode very quickly. In software, it is easy change the lights of the buttons. There are two lighting effects and it has sleep timer as well. DPI can go up to 16K and 5 preset DPI available for configuration. The customizable RGB lighting enable whole new level of personalization with 16.8 million brilliant colors. Mechanical spring button tensioning system delivers a consistent click feel and near instantaneous actuation. Based on specification, mouse buttons are built to perform 50 million key strokes and it is perfect for gamers. This mouse using Optical technology specially designed gaming sensor optimized for precision and speed movements giving you an edge in gaming battles. Five additional weights let you customize mouse weight and balance for just the right feel. I have connected this mouse in my Chromebook and windows PC and it is working without any issues. Posted .Hi Roxi, sorry to see you're son was not satisfied with his G502 Gaming Mouse. If he was having software related issues, please make sure to have the free G Hub software downloaded to the computer. This will allow you to configure the mouse RGB colors, actions for the buttons, firmware updates, etc. But if he just doesn't like the way the mouse feels or handles, Logitech G makes other great options like the G203, and G305 mice!

Logitech has been going downhill for some time and this is just another shining example. I'm now playing with a Razer and have no complaints yet. Logitech did something that caused the quality to go way down and I'd suggest they look internally before it gets any worse.

Posted .Hello customer, I'm sorry to hear that your G502 is double clicking. I would recommend cleaning the left click with a can of compressed air, and possibly going into your computer settings and adjusting the double click sensitivity. Those two solutions can usually solve the issue.
