This is a good mouse that I use with my work computer but I'm using this iBuyPower freebie that came with my home computer right now and honestly I like it better as it is less bulky and more nimble. It would probably be cheaper if you could buy them but iBuyPower doesn't sell them separately :(. If you need advanced gaming capabilities I'm sure the G502 is the one for you but I don't do that. I should also mention that the G502 does however blow away the cheaper Logitech mouse that preceded it so that is good.

One of the best gaming mouses that I have ever used. A bit heavy but you can always remove some weight of it plus the feel to hold it in your hand is really good. Loved it.

Had the original G502 Proteus Core. That mouse served me for around 7-8 years by now and is still going strong, however it is getting dirty and the scroll wheel is getting stuck so I got this one with the HERO sensor. The ergonomics are the exact same as the old G502 and the price is great. It works for me.

Not bad at all, but the scroll wheel...

...not a fan of it. Don't get me wrong, the infinity scroll wheel itself is awesome, but it the way it's made is not as good as the wireless version. It looks like a hunk of metal whereas the wireless version is more "hollow" and from my understand, lighter. But that's just me nitpicking, other than that, it's a good mouse, especially @ $46 US. I wanted the wireless version, but It's hard to justify paying an extra $100+ just for a better mouse wheel lol. Great sensor, a bit on the heavy side for those who are into light weight mice.

The rumors are true, this is the only mouse you will ever need. Unless you have tiny tiny hands. It's accurate, fast, and appears to last forever with heavy abuse. Battery life is also great on the wireless version, I own both. They are both amazeballs.

Great mouse. it has 2 LED's that are the same color. the logo LED is always under-palm. color is software controlled. this mouse had weights, so you can adjust the feel. the cable is high quality and bendy, not stiff. feels high quality. this mouse comes wireless as well, but I game, and don't trust wireless mice for that. this is excellent. it uses logitech software for macro's that you can program any way you could think to control them, except for moving the cursor; any button can be any control. and the wheel has 2 modes, standard, and free-wheel, I flick up and it keeps on spinning for a sec or two. good function.

This is my second g502. The first being the proteus. After receiving the mouse I noticed that the hero is lighter. The only issue I have is the spot right below the sensor the weight doesn't fit just right and if you move the mouse fast you can hear the weight rattle. Other than that it's a great mouse that I would buy again and you should buy it to. Feels nice in my large hands and works well with my palm grip. I take one star away only because of the weight issue other than that it's a 5 star mouse.

Good mouse and has a nice feel to it. You can add the included weights to it if you need to. the button layout is good. My only issue is that my left mouse button started to no hold the click when I hold it down. What I mean is that when I want to click and drag something it act like a normal click sometimes even though I am depressing the button. Other than that i still use it and still works good. It has a braided cable and the construction is nice. The led's are customizable.

It's got lots of space for keybindings and all of the keys are in comfortable locations for quick use. Also, it's smaller than my last mouse and a much better fit in my hand. For any women looking for a nice gaming mouse, I'd suggest this one for sure, I love it.

It's been a while since I owned a Logitech mouse. Specifically a gaming mouse. This mouse feels smooth and responsive. The software needs a little bit of work but with some practice, it gets easier. Would buy again.
